When the ASOS man comes and you’re not there, this is apparently where your parcels go now! Pick up itself was easy peasy, I was texted a QR code which was scanned on arrival, showed them ID, signed for my parcel and it quickly emerged from a hatch in the very, very purple Doddle shop. Staff were friendly and helpful. The issue that I have is that there isn’t, as far as I can see, any particularly convenient parking — I’m guessing that the easiest is snow hill station which isn’t exactly cheap. Not too much of an issue this time as it was a small parcel, but I did still have to factor a 45 min round trip walk over there into my day. They also only keep parcels a week, unlike the post office which keeps them 18 days, which could have been an issue as I only got back from holiday the day before I got a text to say my parcel was going to be returned to sender(it was an exchange that I was hoping would arrive before I went away).

I am so glad that Dave M. added this place to Unilocal.I would have completely missed it otherwise! If you(like me) order a lot of stuff online and aren’t in to collect, these guys are there to help. You can collect(Simply register as a Doddle user and collect your online shopping at your local Doddle store), send(You can send your parcel from any Doddle shop to any address in the UK, and now you can send parcels internationally too) and Return stuff(You can return something you’ve bought online at any Doddle shop — and if it came from one of their retail partners, it’s free). You can either use the place as a one off or register as a member. For just £5 per month you get unlimited collections and 10% off the cost of sending a package. If you Shop online more than 3 times a month then you’ll be saving money. They normally charge £1.95 per package. The idea is great, the location is handy and the service is very cost effective if you are a regular online shopper or sender. I think it’s a fantastic scheme and about time we had something like this in the city!
