Costa is a coffee chain that I enjoy visiting. This one is located on the top of Next in the Bullring – either take the lifts straight up or climb the last flight of stairs. We experienced quick service with polite and efficient staff. Though it gets busy, there are lots of seats and tables for a small corner area in a department store. This is a good location to watch the busy streets below. Drinks are delicious and always consistent. We ordered an Iced Mocha Latte and Hot Chocolate. If you have the hot chocolate, skip the pink marshmallows but add the whip cream, as it’s worth it. There’s no wifi but it’ll give you time to people watch.

How have I never checked in here before, I am always here?! So, this is THE haunt of my friend Rachel and I. I don’t know how it came to be because I prefer independent placed and she isn’t monogamous with places but… it has become our second home of gossip and silliness. The staff are quick and efficient. The manager is a bit moany but I can imagine running such a busy Costa can be a nightmare sometimes. I had their caramel fudge hot choc today and despite not being a huge hot choc fan, it was lush. As is their honeycomb cake thing. I also always have the Tyrell crisps because they are really wonderful. Given it a three because despite it being a haunt of mine, it doesn’t have a loo and it gets full really quickly and sometimes the manager makes me feel guilty for breathing

This is one of my favourite coffee shops with good views over the street below. Whilst it is always very busy the staff are friendly and its a nice place to relax for a bit during all the shopping. There are nice sofas and the drinks taste incredible(of course look out for the ridiculous calorie content)

One of my favourite coffee shops to visit, yes they are expensive but the quality of the coffee and the food is amazing. I love the iced drinks as a treat but they also do a very low fat one which is a yummy alternative to the whipped cream topped drinks! Friendly staff who are fast at making the drinks. I used to have a cappuchino from here thinking it was a fairly low fat choice but it is over 120 calories and over 6g of fat for the full fat version — which goes without saying was the one I used to drink all the time!
