Hotel Chocolat

Wall to wall chocolatey treats, what is not to love?! I’m a big fan of Hotel Chocolat, and it has become my go-​to spot for a bit of cocoa indulgence since they opened a small store in Birmingham’s Bullring.
Hotel Chocolat isn’t cheap, but the quality and variety of chocolates on offer is pretty impressive. From great big chocolate slabs, studded with all sorts of yummy toppings, to the most elaborate easter eggs and seasonal treats, you can get it all. One of my favourite Hotel Chocolate product ranges is their drinking chocolate. This comes in a variety of flavours (milk chocolate and caramel drops, for example), and the melting chocolate drops makes for a very tasty drink. I usually end up eating most of it.
If you’re stuck for an indulgent birthday, valentine’s, Easter or Christmas present then Hotel Chocolat is a good shout. You can take your pick of a range of gift packs, which include a range of choccie goodies.

Was changing stations from Moor St to New St and thought it would be a great idea to go via Hotel Chocolat to take advantage of their Easter half price sale and grab some tasty chocolate for cheap (well, cheaper anyway!).
As always everytime I go to a Hotel Chocolat they seem to be handing out chocolate (maybe I’m just lucky…), in this case a chocolate truffle which melted in the mouth and just made me hungry for more chocarrific goodness.
We settled on a couple different boxes, a white chocolate strawberry egg sandwich and a thick half egg with gianduja truffles which we are working our way through. I find Hotel Chocolat exceptionally tasty, with good flavour combinations and when it’s half price it’s all the better. The service was fantastic in the shop as well, and although they were busy and only had two staff on, they still made you feel like the only customer in there. Brilliant!

Hotel chocolat is a chocolate specialist. In the bullring. They are expensive but are really nice. They have lot of different products you cant find anywhere else. They have really nice and value for money gift sets at Christmas and valentines. Last week I brought a valentines pink goody bag for 15.00 but I am giving it for a birthday gift. The products are unique and staff are very friendly. The store layout is really clear and they are clean. They have a wide range of chocolate boxes from 6 pounds onwards.
They still have their sale on at the moment and you can pick up really nice gifts gifewrapped for half price in the bullring store. But online they are still in the sale but instore sales are cheaper. Recommend giving this shop a visit.
