Cards Galore

I don’t need an occasion to send a card. Whether someone is having a bad day, they’ve just passed their driving test or it’s a 29^th birthday celebration, I’ll be getting them a card.
My problem is remembering to actually pick up the card before I leave home. I usually don’t realise I’ve left it until I’m a few stops away from Birmingham New Street and I hear my phone ringing. I know it’s going to be my husband telling me off for leaving it on the kitchen table… again!
Cards Galore is located just opposite the lost property office on the ground floor of New Street Station. It’s really handy for me as I always meet my friends upstairs, giving me the chance to pop in, unseen. I have a look through the cards, pick out a beauty, write a witty note and I’m out within a few minutes ready to hand it over. I could use WHSmiths but they have the kind of cards you’ve seen a thousand times over, at least Cards Galore offer a great selection of unusual and funny cards at affordable prices.
I’ve been saved quite a few times and I know they’ll save me again.

Situated just inside New Street train station, this is a convenient little store, with a perfect location.
Although the outlet is very small, you can find most types of cards in here, regardless of which occasion you want to mark. Although the choice might be somewhat limited, don’t be put off. They are friendly in here and helpful.
Small gifts are also available, and the prices are not too steep. Although I did expect this card shop to be busier in view of it being next door to Birmingham’s main train station, I found the relative quietness gave me the room to browse, which you do appreciate in a small space.
