I visited Café Bebo a number of times many years back, when they used to do more hot food/meals and haven’t been for years as I so rarely frequent that part of town these days. However, this week it was en-route from an appointment to my car, and I had 40 minutes to spare so decided to pop in and grab a cup of tea. The choice isn’t what it used to be(they used to offer a wide range of posh tea’s) but I was quite content with my cherry & cinnamon tea. It does have a nice relaxed atmosphere in there, and in terms of take away food deals, offers great value for money. It always seems quiet to average, with a nice buzz, some people having meetings, others working, families stopping in for a treat. It is a place for anyone, and a nice place to sit and read or work for a while, which good views from the upstairs.

Of all the city centre coffee shops, this is one I go to if I’m at the Broad Street end of town, perfectly located as it is just near the central library. The coffee is OK, a little pricey for the quality and quantity(coming up to £3 for a too small chai latte) but the ambience and number of seats is very welcome. You have a choice of seating on the ground floor, upstairs, which looks out onto the soon to be new library or outside. There is a good size selection of lunches and cakes(depending on when you visit) and also free WiFi(secure). All in all a quite place if you need a place to work from or indeed meet with people.

Café Bebo is probably considered«the local café» of most of people who pass by for the Paradise Forum, weekly. I have lost the count of all times I have stopped there for a cup of coffee or for grabbing one of their delicious sweet and savoury menu options. Food in this place is really mouthwatering and I can’t describe how gorgeous(and cheap, only £ 2.15) their quiches are! It’s a very busy café, especially in the mornings when everyone needs a nice cuppa or a latte in the way to work, home or wherever they are up to. They open quite early and close relatively late, by the way! Even if they have a very quick ordering and delivery service I would recommend spending some time in this spacious café. After all, free Wi-Fi + comfy seats are something always inviting!

Café Bebo, part of the Paradise Forum and within the same complex as the old Birmingham central library is a great place to just relax and wind away the hours. Also incorporating the Gourmet Sandwich and Coffee company. They offer s scrumptious traditional English breakfast which is served until noon. I had the cappuccino latte at £1.35, but if you like your tea, they also offer a Builders tea at just 99p, not bad. They offer such a good wide selection of food and drinks, they cater for all tastes. Smoothies are popular here, aswell as the lunch meal deals(a sandwich, drink and crisps for just £2.99. A nice alternative to the McDonald’s nearby). If you prefer to stay in and eat or drink, the seats are very comfy, but I’d recommend sitting upstairs as you have more space. FREEWIFI is available, and nice large tables for you to put your laptop onto. Worth a visit, and a favourite of mine.

So so. staff were a little unsure and lacked confidence when serving us. Prices high for what is served. Basic sandwiches and over cooked jackets would only go back for the coffee not the food.

I love this place and call in weekly when up in Brum on business. Great Coffee and Ciabatta sandwiches. Staff are hot and friendly. Check it out!

Café Bebo is a decent sized coffee shop located at the Broad Street side of Paradise Forum. Inside, they have made exceptional use of the limited space available, with plenty of comfy seating available(including high chairs for infants) and a long bar displaying their comprehensive menu of coffees, teas, milkshakes and light lunches and snacks. There are glass cabinets containing freshly made cakes and sandwiches, and several jars of delicious looking pastries and biscuits. Their food is limited to jacket potatoes, hot and cold sandwiches and the aforementioned sweeties, but the range of fillings on offer is quite considerable. All the savoury food is interestingly referred to as being«gourmet», which it may be for all I know, since I tend to stick with a cake and a hot drink. The whole place has an bright, open and friendly atmosphere and includes free access to the café’s WiFi service. A good option for business meetings, light lunches or simply a quick pick-me-up on the way home from work.

The best Café Deli in the world!!! Me and my Girlfriends visit at least once a week when in work. Loads of seating inside and on a balcony and they have a garden too! Absolutely stunning Gourmet Sandwiches and Salads with freshly baked bread. The ingredients are great quality and it is freshly made in front of you. They do great cakes and cheesecake. The satff are really friendly — its just sooooo cool!

I was in Birmingham one evening very recently and needed a quick bite to eat. The menu outside this café looked to be exactly what I wanted, and the place seemed very pleasant. I chose a pizza and went in to order. Sorry, all the pizzas are off today, I was told. We’ve run out of pizza bases. I was disappointed but decided to persevere. OK, could I have a lasagne instead please? There’s a 20-minute delay on the pasta dishes, came the reply. Only one of our three microwaves is working at the moment. At that point I walked out and went elsewhere. A good menu and a pleasant building earn a few brownie-points, but a failure to be able provide half the menu within a reasonable time wipes all of them out and puts them into a significant overdraft as far as I’m concerned. Hence: one star.

Went to this place just before Christmas, after a BAD day in the Bull Ring shopping. This place Bebo is an Oasis in Birmingham. It was heaving busy but managed to find a table for 2. I think I know my coffee and these people do real coffee, none of that Bucks hot milk buckets here. And they do real food. I got a sandwich made up with my own choice of ingredients on some fancy bread which was just baked and still hot. My girlfriend had a hot spud which came with a salad, these hit the spot. The place is real nice too, plays good music in the background and has free wifi, just heaven. Until I visited Bebo I was righting Birmingham off. Does anyone know, are there any more of these places around?

Lovely location within Paradise forum. An especially great place to eat on a hot summer’s day as the Café has outside seating looking out upon Centenary Square. The interior is modern contemporary, with soft comfortable seating. The Café offers premium quality deli sandwiches and meals, as well as a range of cakes, pastries and teas and coffees — all delicious! The staff are helpful and friendly, making Café Bebo an even more pleasant experience.

We love Café Bebo! It is in a good location just inside Paradise Forum, and ideal for a breakfast or lunchtime visit, and the staff were great. Breakfast prices are the best value we have found in Birmingham and the food was both excellent and plentiful. Lunch offers a great range of sandwiches and specials, with some unusual and delicious choices — you can either eat in or take away. There are the usual tables or some nice low leather sofas which are great for relaxing with a drink and chatting with friends, or you can go outside on a nice day and sit on the terrace. Try it — you won’t be disappointed!

i love the location of bebo, and it is really lovely in the Summer when you can relax in the café area. The food is fairly expensive, but well worth paying a little bit more for higher quality food. the service is really excellent and they are really really helpful and easy to get along with.

This one is excellent hard to find but opposite Wetherspoons in the paradise forum. Amazing choice of sandwiches and salads. Two levels with a garden and a funky design. Leather everywhere and really relaxing. staff friendly too.

Pleasant café/deli combo, with lots of soft seating over two levels. Bright and open, looking out over the top of Broad Street. Coffee was pricey at just under two quid, but it was delicious. Big lunch time menu, that you can either have it to take in or out, so price varies depending. Again, not the cheapest food, but it was delicious and service was friendly and quick. Spent ages after my Ma and I had finished eating just sitting and chatting. Very relaxed. Recommended.
