hen Do/Stag Do haven! the first thing me and my sister noticed was the vast amounts of both of these in the club. so be prepared for the type of noise that comes from both of these type of groups ;-) sorry to say we thought the acts bar one were pretty bad, we cringed at one of them and cringed even more at the guy doing the intro’s. he was so slimy it made our skin crawl. Food awful we ordered and where forgotten about, then someone next to us who arrived late was given our food, so we waited again and by then they had no ‘buckets of chips’ just small bowls with limp awful chips that looked like left overs from earlier diners buckets! They came much later after realising we were not happy and offered us a drink, but only a choice of an alcho pop. even though we were drinking red wine. No thank you ! Drinks the bar was so busy ans slow it was ridiculous, more staff would help! one bar trip was 25 minutes, very frustrating. Yes they are supposed to serve drinks at your table but you can wait a very long time for them to come to you but we waited a lifetime(being stuck in a corner table) so in the end had to trot over to a member of staff and ask for an order to be taken. Tip. order 2⁄3 drinks at a time! Afterwards it was nice when the club opened, its HUGE!

A pretty good place for a night of comedy in the centre of Birmingham’s leisure quarter. Before the show the table service of both food and drinks is quick and efficient. While the food is very simple, it is at your table in double quick time. Glasses simply aren’t allowed to run dry and the staff are clearly well drilled. The quality of the comedy varies but is more ‘hit’ than ‘miss’ and is certainly better than the other comedy club in Birmingham. Worth a visit.

Stumbled upon this club while walking down a wet broad street! Saturday 11th July 2009. The bouncer took a fancy to me and let me and my mates in for free!(Result, as I would have been disappointed parting for cash to get into this venue!) I think because me and my friends were sober at the time of arrival(around 12.30am) and everyone else was pretty hammered, that we never got to fully appreciate this massive club! Many rooms playing loads of different music in each! From cheese, pop, rnb, dance etc Drinks were quite pricey, considering it’s ”like” a massive weatherspoons! Everything is watered down, err. After one round of two cokes, one large glass of wine and two shots came to £11.60! Cos it was such a late one, it was a sober night all around! We danced the night away on the sticky floors, and had a laugh with all the drunken folk, hens, stags, those in fancy dress! Got some cracking pics! Overall a pleasant night of madness, but you definitely need to be drunk!

Risa is the best club in Birmingham, definitely worth a visit if you’ve not got one in your home town. on student nights its fantastic, the drinks are cheap, the music is brilliant, the bouncers stop any trouble and when all of the rooms are open you have so much choice. The toilets often flood which is a problem in many clubs but you can overlook that for a good night on every other count.

A good night out with decent food served quickly before 3 comedy acts(with an interval). Drinks were expensive and tables are crammed very close together.

I went here a few years back for a work Christmas party and we had a really good laugh. The acts were really good, though we were at the front and members from our table continually got picked on(luckily not me!) The food that we had was basket food but actually tasted quite nice. They serve drinks in pitchers or buckets so you dont run out and the staff were really observent when doing so. This Jongleurs is quite big, after the acts finshes it opens up with the bar next door and turns into a nightclub. We arrived by taxi and there was a rank close by for when we went home. There is no parking.

I went here for a friends birthday party and I really enjoyed it! I’d never been to a comedy club before and I found it a great experience. You sit at very long tables — the only thing I didn’t like is that they’re so closely pushed together that you practically have to climb over people to get to the loos! The staff are all really friendly and charming and go with the atmosphere perfectly and you can orders lots of lovely fried food! The portions are very generous so it’s good value for money. There were three turns and I really enjoyed them — they were all hysterically funny and very different in style. Plenty of swearing and crude humour from one of them so don’t go if easily offended, but other than that it was fab!

Siatued on Broad Street, Jongleurs is the nationwide comedy club chain, which features live stand-up comedians, as well as great food and drink. It may not be the poshest of places, but if you want a night of laughs, as well as some booze, then this place really can’t be beaten. Having seen some great names play hear in the past, it is well worth going on amateur nights too in case you catch a glimpse of any rising stars remember you saw them first! Being on broad street, it is a great place to start a special occasion, such as a bday, and then head into the bars and clubs afterwards. After the performances on a friday and saturday, the tables are cleared and jongleurs becomes a bar/club until the wee hours.

Located on Broad Street — Birmingham’s largest going out street — Risa is one of the largest bars it has to offer. It is trendy and stylish and caters to every occasion and taste. There are 6 rooms to choose from and 7 bars so always able to get drinks. The ideal place to eat, drink, laugh and dance the night away.
