Great place for meeting with friends or just popping through for lunch with the kids. The staff are friendly and happy to help ;) It has a nice outdoor area if the sun is out xx

As other reviewers have said already, the William Camden is opposite Bexleyheath Station and as such, receives a lot of commuter trade. It’s usually busy but not crammed, so you can get a table. The menu is pretty good compared to Wetherspoons joints, as they’ve got a lot more variety on offer and some better deals. The pub itself is split into two sections. You’ve got an eating and drinking bit and then a fun and games bit, with pool tables, jukeboxes and fruit machines, so everyone’s a winner. It also has two screens for the footie so blokes will be happy. The only thing I can really say about it is that it’s one of those pubs where if you’re walking in with a crowd, it’s fine. But if you’re walking in on your own, you feel awkward and self-conscious as it has regulars that give you a disapproving look for daring to step into their waterhole to wet your whistle. If you’re cool with that, then it’s a decent pub and in a great location. If you aren’t… well, maybe try the Toby Carvery up the road.

The William Camden is literally just over the road from the Bexleyheath Station so if you want a quick once after getting back from London, or grab one before the next train, this is the place. I’ve been here many times and as far as pubs go it’s OK. A good local following, on a traditional pub style. Pub quiz’s occur at various times and overall not bad. If you are looking for a little more atmosphere though I would suggest looking elsewhere though as it can be a little slow. Overall not bad.

The William Camden is a stones throw from Bexleyheath Station and is a good place to stop off for a quick pint after work. It’s quite a lively venue with lots of people around but being quite big, it is rarely a struggle to get served or sit down. The pub is split into two sections. One half has the pool tables, jukebox and games machines whereas the other half is simply for sitting and drinking meaning that the pub suits all crowds. There are 5 pool tables and two big screens meaning if two games are on at the same time, you have the option of watching both which is quite impressive. There is a good community spirit and the pub does occasionally host events such as quizzes and live music events. All events are displayed on the board outside. There is a conservatory out the back which is good for kids too. This leads to a large garden with swings to entertain them and benches for the parents to sit on and enjoy a lazy Sunday pint. The regulars can be a bit rough around the edges sometimes, loud and rowdy which can be a little off putting but if you keep yourself to yourself you are usually safe. The William Camden(or The Camden as it’s known locally) is a proper pub and makes for an enjoyable drinking hole. Parking is available in the small car park out the front which can be a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes or if you are visiting in the evening there is a large pay and display behind the pub.
