No tea for me please… oh and a cup to go… We stopped here after a quick visit to James’ Hairdressing for Men. First thing that you notice is that this place is quaint and pokey. Thats not a bad thing… it cosy. Fast-Forward to the winter evenings where is dark outside at 1pm in the afternoon, well sorta. There is a good selection of treats to choose from but i settled for a toastie(Cheese, Ham, Tomato & Red Onion — for a change) and soup. This was a reasonable deal. The soup was yum, but the toastie resembled a slither of the bread that it once was. I can’t stand it when the toastie maker reduces the bread to razor thin slice, so thin in fact that i could probably saw my lips off eating it. The coffee is supplied by the premium coffee brand Illy so you know that this place is about quality products. Despite the slight overlook and not knowing my feelings on said toastie makers the device was definitely worth a review. The staff were super-friendly and more than happy to strike up a conversation. This is always an added bonus. If you head on over to the likes of Groupon and search for coffee den you will find a cutsie deal on afternoon tea and sandwiches. The offer is actually pretty decent and is a break from the norm. Great for a cosy meet with friends and its good to see local businesses diversifying

Really nice place. The owner was very friendly. He let us charge our phones over coffee and tea. They also have a place to donate to a charity for children. A very good cappuccino.

Coffee den is a nice place to go to for a lunch and a chat. It has a nice atmosphere and is very reasonably priced. I had a bacon and sausage bagel which was delicious, plus it came with a huge pot of strong tea all for only £4.50p. All in it was a lovely lunch and I’m sure I will pay this business another visit.

This is the type of place that makes me love my job. Walking in to Belfast this morning from the North of the city I was headed straight for Established Coffee in the Cathedral Quarter but then the caffeine urge hit me early and I stumbled in to the Coffee Den. As soon as I walked in I knew it was the place for me, rustic exposed brick work splattered with framed local art and low level lighting creating the perfect working environment. The staff are amazing — as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile(pretty rare pre 9am on a Monday morning) and asked what I would like and when I said, ‘A flat white and the wifi code’ I was invited to take and seat and both those items would be brought over to me. Free wifi by the way — BONUS! I ended up staying and doing all my Monday morning emails in the Coffee Den — all sorts of people came in and out and they were all treated with the same warmth as I was! They do food as well — I grabbed a quick sausage roll but they were also serving breakfasts. I think I have found my new morning hang out — I was as productive there as I was at home — at no pint did I feel unwelcome! I’d encourage all freelancers and remote workers to give The Coffee Den a go!
