Cagney’s

I called in here last week on a staff training day as it’s fairly near where I work and I’d heard decent reports about it. I don’t know why, but we were all just craving a ‘chippy’ like mad, so we headed round here to get a whack of pasties, chips, fish suppers and sausage suppers. Everyone was really pleased with thier choice, and the food was very fresh and made quickly and definitely wasn’t sitting around getting stale. I had a pastie supper with curry sauce — my particular favourite — and it was really good. The chips weren’t greasy and the sauce was a good consistency — you haven’t lived until you’ve tried Belfast curry! The staff were really helpful and polite, and worked really hard from what I could see. The food was good value too, so we had no complaints. I’ll be going back — although I really shouldn’t be eating chippy food. Somebody stop me, please…
