Whatever you do not under any circumstances get a storecard from Burton or Topshop/​Topman or any of the other Arcadia groups. A few years ago when I was buying a wedding suit, some shoes and a shirt and tie from Burton the guy at the counter convinced me to get one and I ended up paying for it for over a year and It was just another outgoing that was completely stupid.
I don’t blame the guy for trying to up sell or get a little bit of commission but I was completely gullible and the way he spun the deal made it sound amazing.
The suit, shoes and shirts were really good though and I still have them all today which speaks highly for the quality of the goods. But if you are going to buy fro Burton which I suggest you do. Do not whack it all on a Storeca

Ok, so clearly Burton is not a place I shop in for myself, but it is somewhere I’ll head to on any given birthday or at Christmas.
We all know what the stock is like, so there are no surprises there, but personally, I’ve always found the staff to be really helpful as well, which is great for someone like me, who goes in with only a vague idea of what I want!
