Went here last Sunday 14th Feb When we went in it was reasonably quiet Lots of couple and families came in after us. They took our order quite promptly We waited and waited for our order to come out every other tables food came out. But still not ours. Started to get very frustrated as we waited tried to get waitress attention but she was daydreaming looking out of the window Food finally came out about 45mins later, with waitress saying sorry I know it’s taken ages. It looked like our order was overlooked so not a good experience overall

Used the Wed after 9pm deal on Wiggle, two beef burgers plus extra toppings, two starters, two sides, plus drinks all under £20! Pretty amazing deal and great value. Each person fill out a form of everything you want. There are a slew of meat(& a veg) selection and toppings to put on the burger(I picked 5 and it was too many for my mini burger, opps). Sides also include different types of fries and onion rings. Overall, me and my friend were very satisfied with how everything tasted. Definitely would have to come back to try the other meats. The environment is very casual with some simple flying to SF&LA posters. Service was friendly but be warned, the burgers are made to order and take at least 20 minutes(they have a little postcard on the table saying so as well). The starters do come more quickly to fill some time. The outside patio should be nice when the weather is warmer as well!

There are some interesting choices made after a few post work ales in the sun, one of those choices is food and your venue. The Burger Joint was one of those full places you walk past and think its worth checking out. The decking onto the street gives it a welcoming touch, weather was inclement when we turned up but the awning and heaters seemed to satisfy those out side. Our party of three was impressed with the range of meats, sauces and sides, so impressed we didn’t realise you had to write it down and hand it in which we actually all thought was a great idea. Given the brioche was no extra we all decided to go for that as well. Meal sizes filled us all up and food arrived at a good pace. These were aided via some Anchor Steam and Brooklyn beverages which I thought complimented the meal well. Service was fun and a tad rawkus. I’d say this place is good for both families and those wanting a little energy with their slice of UK America although strollers(aka the British pram) might be best left at home due to space issues, definitely cozy. Things like the bathrooms and other access looks good for both able and not so able bodied all being clean and well looked after. In all, good experience, fully game for another visit Side note: Unable to book on weekends(Fri/Sat/Sun), you have to rock up, check availability and they will take a number and call when things are free should it be too busy. I unsure give them a call seemed to pick up pretty rapidly.

Lovely lunch today at the burger joint, I have never had pulled pork on a burger but now I don’t think I’ll be able to have burger without pulled pork! Generous sides and free refills make it very good value as well!

Really friendly welcome and atmosphere from the host, fills us in on the different way of ordering, tick boxes for everything you want and what is included in what price. We had a fairly large group and they put tables together to accommodate us. Fun banter and reasonable service, good at topping up the drinks. Food all seems to be what we had ticked on the boxes. Food is great, really well cooked and hot, plenty of selection of burgers, buns, fries, and sides and sauces too. Rather like a create your own scenario. Nice décor and well kept, although it is very new. Have been 2 or 3 times since and not able to get in the door so if you fancy it book ahead to avoid disappointment. Outside dining if weather and capacity allows. Reasonable prices too with some in the week deals if you fancy a cheap taster. Enjoy!

It does exactly what it says on the tin !!! If you want a dirty big burger this is the place for you. Never let it be said that a juicy burger is not the best thing ever and here they are certainly very juicy. This is a really nice little place with everything that you need for a perfect hangover cure !

Quite a nice addition to north st, its been needing a place to sit down and have a burger for a while! The burger joint boasts a wide selection of um burgers, with the option to go double, and the sides and sauces are equally emmense(although a little slim in portion when you ask for it as a side). Feeling quite starving, i treated myself to a wild boar burger(double of course) and a healthy dose of sweet potato chips. Very tasty! The burger wasnt life-changingly/shaft of holy light good, buy it was tasty. I wasnt overly impressed with the bun, but i did notice there was an option to go for a brioche bun. For place with such a vast menu, I would have loved to see a bigger selection of buns! Like ciabatta. But thats just nitpicking. Service was good, staff were charmingly cheeky and seemed happy to make changes to my table’s orders(was with someone quite picky). Its a small place, but most burger places are and should be, otherwise youre in a tgi’s… Which is not ideal. Its almost always busy so i would recommend booking in advance. Other points; beer selection is wide, with such hoppy classics as brooklyn larger and southville hop. They have a few(a lot more than most burger places) selections for vegetarians. Has outside seating, which is welcome this time of year! To summarise; definitely worth a visit, nice addition to north street, good burgers, moderately priced, but please, more buns!!!
