What a wonderful pub, my first ever UK pub and it was fantastic. Being from South Louisiana they could use some Tony’s Chachere, but so could the rest of the world. But they had great fish and chips well as a really good burger. Great ambience.

The Rose is one of the livelier establishments in Bedford, particularly on a Friday and Saturday night. The downside is that a queue to enter often forms at these times, and then it takes a century to get served at the bar.
Although the inner bar is far too narrow, the spacious (for the town centre) outdoor area sets the pub apart.

One of the most popular bars in bedford, especially at the weekends when the place is chock-​a-​block with people living for the weekend, this is a good thing if your wanting to have a banter filled night o bump into people you know but bad if you want to have a few drinks as queuing for just one seems to take a lifetime. In the days it shows all the big football games on bg screens and you can get reasonable food.

A very good place to include in your pub crawl, It has a bit of everything. A crowded bar, a little dancefloor and a nice outdoor area. The music can get loud so its not really for having a chat.
