Very nice Fine dine Indian Restaurant. Really good sauces. There is saying that if a Chef knows his sauces he knows what he is doing. Service could be better that’s why one less start but this place is worth 5 stars.

I can’t believe I’m the first to review this place. During a recent prolonged stay in Bedford, the group of people I was in requested we find a curry house. Now. I’m from Birmingham. I’m mildly overweight. I’ve eaten a lot of curry. I know my stuff. So I did some local questioning and 4⁄5 bedfordians recommended this place. It’s opposite a stunning river view. Nicely decorated and we were quickly greeted and seated. This normally means the place isn’t going to be that nice in my experience. I was wrong. I ordered some poppadoms, chutneys and some cobra beers for everyone. They took a while to arrive, but that is my only quibble with the place. Service seems quite at random, but never unfriendly. Starters were ordered, king prawn puri and some tandoori chicken for myself. Stunning. Not a bite was wasted. Side salad was fresh, chicken was perfectly cooked and cubed. For mains, there were mainly lamb dishes for our group. An Indian spiced lamb shank, a special spicy lamb dish which name escapes me I’m afraid — and a chicken tikka jalfreisi. I went for the lamb chilli garlic dish. With garlic rice and garlic naan. Split between us it was perfect. I have to say, it’s the best curry meal I have eaten in a hell of long time. Perfectly spiced, just hot enough and tasty. Go there now. It wasn’t over priced, everyone left happy.
