Having lived inn Bath for some 28 years I can confirm that you’ll be hard pushed to find a pub in all of Somerset with a garden as good as the one at the Wheatsheaf. We walked out there with the dogs (which are welcome and the pub even provide treats and water) and had a lovely Sunday lunch on their terrace followed by a game of table tennis in the garden. It’s not just the garden and the settings that make this place so wonderful, it’s the service, the food, the home made honey and everything that goes with it. The worst thing about the Wheatsheaf is having to leave. Highly recommended.
