Nice restaurant and helpful staff! Fantastic food! You must try the tagine of duck and you won’t regret it.

We tried the lunch set: a starter and a main course for £12.95. Very good value. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very special. Highly recommended.

Stumbled on this restaurant randomly while visiting Bath. I cook a fair bit of Morrocan food, and I’m usually disappointed when I go to Morrocan restaurants. This was, quite simply, one of the best Morrocan restaurants I have ever been to. We started with the cold mezze sampler platter, which we thought would be basic, but the flavors they produced were phenomenal. Would also recommend their soups, as well as various tagines. I found the duck tagine to be incredibly rich and well made. Service was kind, and a really great experience overall.

Wow, loved this place! Décor was charming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb with prune tagine, I don’t remember what my husband had but he raved about it as well. Service was prompt and attentive, and we had a very nice conversation with our server as well. We ate here after we took the Bizarre Bath comedy walking tour(which I also highly recommend), and this restaurant ended up being the only one still open after the tour was over. Lucky for us it turned out that way! So it’s great on three fronts, delicious food, charming intimate atmosphere, and it has later hours too.

Really fantastic meal! I’ll echo other reviewers that the wine seemed a bit pricey, but it was good– had a glass of the Moroccan white. Who knew Morocco made good wine? The appetizers are a bit overwhelming in sheer number of options. We got the hot sampler and the cold sampler. While it was a bit too much food, everything was fantastic. If I had to choose, the cold platter was a bit better overall– go for that, if you must have only one. The mains were great, too– although you could make a very satisfying meal out of the small plates, for sure. We had a few tagines and a large salad among the three of us. Salad was fine, but tagines were really fantastic. Only slight complaint was that the meatballs in one seemed a tad overdone,

Came to Bath, so of course we had Moroccan food! Was a wonderful choice. The waiter was very sweet, food was beautifully spiced, have the mint tea with your meal.

Upon recommendation by the host at our B&B — my mom and I had our first meal in England at Café du Globe. Service was poor, the bathrooms kind of scary and the food was okay but nothing to write home about. We ordered the 18.95(pounds) prix fixe option — the portions were very small(and don’t give me guff about«Americans eat too much anyway»). This was one of the most expensive — and overpriced — meals I had on my entire trip in England in 3.5 weeks. For $ 77(that’s USD) we both had a vegetable and couscous dish, two appetizers, hummus & bread, one glass of soda and a glass of wine. That’s just ludicrous. I’ve had better Moroccan food in San Francisco and Paris — and I guess it’s easy to make a mistake on one’s first night in another country. Just avoid restaurants close to the city center till you get your bearings.

I was in Bath on Sunday with the family and saw this showing on Qype’s places near me so I thought we’d give this place a go. There were four of us and so we ordered four starters for the table. The mezze(two people portion) was a very good size, not to mention delicious. The warm goat’s cheese starter was sublime and the olives and hummus went perfectly with the other starters. It was after 1600 by the time we entered the restaurant and our breakfast meal had been long time ago so we were all quite hungry. Well after the starters we were all pretty full. Three of us ordered the chicken tagine and one of our party upon asking the waiter what he recommended, he recommended a dish that was not on the menu but that delicious nevertheless. I can’t remember what the dish was called but it was amazing. The food may have taken a little longer than one is used to waiting at restaurants but I imagine that was because we came at a funny time and the chef was cooking from scratch. Usually I like to indulge myself with a little dessert on a day out but I honestly couldn’t have eaten another bit. Excellent value for two courses, only £10.95

This is a very good restaurant with friendly service. We were not very hungry upon arrival but couldn’t pass up their Moroccan chicken with cinnamon and powdered sugar. It came with some very good veggies and we washed it down with a nice Moroccan red. The desert was also good. Strongly recommended.

I’ve been by a number of times, but finally stopped in this time. I was quickly greeted at the door and I chose a table by the window. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly, but the service was efficient. The décor was definitely in keeping with all of the other Moroccan restaurants I have been to, as well as some of the places I have been to in Marrakech. I chose to go with the 2-course lunch menu. For my starter I had the Falafel. I thought the Falafel was a bit dry, but because of the sauces that came with it, it was still enjoyable. The flavor was spot on though. I did have mint tea with my meal and it was lovely. For my main, I had the Moroccan Begri Ba Jelbana Wel Artichoux. It was a beef dish with artichokes, potatoes, peas, and your choice of rice or couscous. It was delicious. The beef was tender and the dish was well seasoned. I would have loved more artichokes, but what was on there was fantastic. I think there was preserved lemon around the plate, which I tried, but quickly learned I was not a fan of. And if you choose the couscous with the dish, there is a surprise inside… some kind of red sauce, but it was a nice surprise. Overall for a 2-course set menu, with a large amount of food there was, I thought the price was reasonable(£10.95). I would definitely go back again, hopefully to get a reminder of my visit to Marrakech.
