Good place for a pint as you wait for your tour bus to arrive.

Watched the Rugby World Cup quarterfinal here. We had the mixed appetizer platter which was very good. All the other food looked good too. Friendly staff.

Excellent littler pub in the heart of Bath, about 5 minutes from the Train Station. The bar area is pretty tiny, and ale selection small, but what ales and bitters there are, are all excellent, traditionally English. Very friendly staff, and in the day time at least, a fairly high number of tourists making up the clientele. Crisps and a pint of traditional ale. Simplicity works!

It may be small, but it a very friendly pub. We always visit the Alehouse when we just get into Bath, for a night out. There is always a mix of people in this pub — It maybe due to tourist coming off the Bath tour for a quick drink. If you can get a seat outside in the summer, its nice to chill, with a Guinness and watch the world go by.

Went here on a trip to Bath, visiting the ‘Cellar Bar’, which is a bar in the basement of this pub. Only thing with that is, if you have a mobile, you don’t get any signal down there! Other than that, it’s a very nice pub in a nice area.
