A great little traditional butchers with some great staff, too. They didn’t seem to know if many of their products were free-​range or GM-​free when I went in recently on a research mission, but I guess this new-​age hippy crap is a bit alien to this world. Still, it would be nice to know exactly what you’re getting. Most of the food is locally sourced, though, so that’s a plus point right there. If I’m honest, though, I would probably use The Sausage Shop (see my review for more on this) that’s just over the road, as they’re 100% free-​range. Even so, this butchers does everything it should.

These guys sell great tasting meat and really know their stuff — so they can offer good advice too. As they have a game license they can also handle a bit of plucking if you’re too lazy or sqeamish as well.
