This has to be on your list of hotels to stop at when your next in Aylesbury. It’s quiet country location hides a real gem, the barn rooms look out into fields, the rooms are modern and comfortable. The restaurant serves an exellent modern menu along with English classics. Breakfast is as you wish the big chains could serve. The bar is a small period affair boasting a large open fire, perfect for a cold winter night. The staff are friendly and welcoming. If you normally stop in the holiday inn then take a chance, you won’t be disappointed. Pricing is comparble to the holiday inn & marriot but the experience is more homeley. To boot breakfast & wifi are incuded in the rate.

The Dinton Hermit, is situated in the village of Ford close to Aylesbury. The place has accommodation, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst we are putting into place our development plans. It has 13 bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar with a good range of beers, some locally brewed and a large garden.
This is a traditional pub/​restaurant which has a very homely feel to it. Well worth visiting for a long lunch and then a walk down the lane.
