I felt a little cheated by the name, I thought this was going to be a patisserie but it just turned out to be a bakery. We had tea and scones that were pleasant enough but the service was a little slow and I wasn’t sure if the cakes had been made on the premises.
Annoyingly, they don’t take card payment however there is a cash machine just up the road.

this is a lovely patisserie. the pastry melts in your mouth and savouries are served on a bed of local grown water cress. the only drawback is that it is very expensive.
