Dimaggio’s Pizzeria

I’m a big Di Maggios fan generally speaking — I love their food. They have restaurants across Glasgow/​Lanarkshire and the best, by far, is the one in Airdrie which most people don’t realise exists. The staff in this restaurant come across as a team — they’re playful and friendly with each other and customers and give the place a lovely atmosphere. The staff behind the scenes play their part — the food in this branch is far better than others in the chain. The food is better presented, well seasoned and in general it just tastes so much nicer. Pasta sauces in particular pack a better flavour and the minestrone soup is absolutely gorgeous. Other branches can sometimes serve it a bit watery! If you’re looking for a cheap but tasty meal then Di Maggios is for you.
