Quaint gem, just a little off the main road. Incredible cappuccino. The«to die for» was a very interesting dish of rich toast, ham, cheese and berries. I didn’t add on Nutella but felt I probably should have. The server was incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations for the remainder of my visit in PR.

Great little place tucked away! We were the only ones there but the food and service was awesome. Had the fish tacos, eggs Benedict and arancini. Everything was great!

Went for Sunday brunch. This place is a hidden gem right off the main drag in Condado — around the corner from the Ben & Jerry’s. Had a couple of outstanding fish tacos. The frozen cappuccinos hit the spot on a hot and humid morning. The owner came over and made sure we enjoyed our meals — we did. She is delightful. Will definitely be back.

While walking in the area, we found this place and came in for brunch. The staff is super friendly, clean seating area, good ambiance, etc. The bartender made us some really great mimosas with tamarind juice. We ordered scrambled eggs, fries, and coco pancakes. All of it was delicious and fresh. Do check out their hours of operations before heading out as they are closed during certain times of the day. All in all, we will definitely return.

We visited here while in PR and the food was amazing. Got the scrambled eggs with veggies and they were fresh and cooked just right. We also had the coco pancakes which were simple yet not to stuffed with sugar or extras. We also tried the guava and tamarind mimosas, suggested by host and turned out to be great. While in PR this is worth the try. Cozy place with great food. Can’t go wrong!

Dark, deep and a little off the beaten path. This place is a little surprising when you go in. The service was fine, no complaints there. I ordered the benedicts because of the reviews and because I really like pulled pork and eggs… why not right? It was so underwhelming. It wasn’t that it was awful, but it wasn’t good either. The pork didn’t stand out… the texture was a bit weird, everything just felt«squishy» a bit. I don’t know how else to describe it all other than squishy, soggy, bland. I wish I was feeling the«to die for» since it had such good reviews, but I just needed something a little less sweet. Maybe just avoid the benedicts… or maybe I just got a not so great one. Also, side note, the bathroom was out of order and the smell of urine in that back hallway was a total stomach turner. Hopefully they get that fixed ASAP. Glad I wasn’t sitting back there and didn’t go back until the end.

Quaint little gem on my first trip to PR. I had the«to die for»(ham +Swiss stuffed French toast) with a side of strawberries and a passion mojito. The owner/wait staff were very gracious and we got the Unilocal 5% off the check offer! Delicious and reasonably priced, loved it!

place was a bit dark for a daytime breakfast/brunch spot. we were the only ones there at 11. My benedict was not good at all… very overpriced place. Service was fine. Would not return unless it was for drinks during the evening which this place looks for suitable for.

Got the filet mignon sliders and coconut water. Good deal! Nice little hidden spot. A little dark but the food was good. I’ll definitely come back to see what else they have to offer.

This hole in the wall at a dead end street gave me the most tantalizing flavors in thief fresh fish tacos. Yum! Cool music, urban chic ambiance, and friendly customer service. Great mimosas tambien. The only reason for the 4 stars rating is because their very popular dish«to die for» was unavailable the day we dined.

Came here for brunch. Ordered a bunch of stuff as per usual. Food was good. Staff was great. Good environment. Took a bit to get the food and drinks to arrive but it’s all good. — Guac and root chips: Guac was not the texture I wanted– too creamy… can I get some lumps/pieces please? — To Die For: sweet bread ham and cheese sandwich– very interesting concept which I approve– imagine french toast stuffed with ham and cheese(check!) — Boricua Sandwich: Not a fan of this– normal sandwich(don’t waste your stomach space on this) — Fish Tacos: GETTHIS! One order comes with 2. We ordered another plate after inhaling the first one. Toasty soft shell. Crispy fish on the outside. Piping hot and tender fish in the inside. Juicy goodness. Now top this with their cilantro aioli and mango relish. God… maybe I need to visit San Juan again… — Filet Mignon Sliders: Average joe sliders– nothing wrong or awesome about them(pass the ketchup please) — Fries: Comes with some of the dishes(but god potato wedges are so good… maybe I just miss eating them) — Cloud 9 Drink: what a way to start your morning(I like their coconut chocolate frap more) Great place to start your day. Did someone say fish tacos?

Stayed In the area and found this place online when looking for a spot to have breakfast or brunch. The place looks inconspicuous and even a bit shabby on the outside but inside the décor is dim, funky and a bit eclectic. We had fresh fruit, what they called filet mignon sliders(definitely NOT filet mignon), and the fish tacos(which were really good). My mimosa was great and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The coffee was very good as well. I’d recommend because it’s a very cute spot and the service was very good– just know that the food can range from great to average.

Visiting from NYC. I love French toast and this place makes an great one. Two solid and sweet pieces of bread around melted ham and cheese. Worthy of a review for sure.

This place is a gem! I had the«to die for,» which definitely lived up to its name. It was so good that the friends that I came with immediately ordered one once they saw mine come out! The owner Alejandra was really friendly and a great host, too. She even helped us figure out what places to visit during our trip to San Juan. Even though the brunch is AMAZING, you definitely shouldn’t sleep on their happy hour and dinner selection either. There seems to always be some kind of 2 for 1 drinks deal, which my friends and I absolutely went back for. The dinner menu is just as delicious, especially the fish tacos! You MUST visit this place!

Known for breakfast but decorated as a lounge, we had a quiet lunch here. We were one of two tables during the lunch hour. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich. It’s slightly off the main drag, which seemed to correlate with good value and quality, but very close to La Concha. Don’t be turned off by the humble exterior.

GREAT breakfast place tucked away around the corner from La Concha. We had a great vacation in San Juan and after a late night out on Saturday night, we were SO hungry. We didn’t want to pay $ 20 for an omelet at La Concha, so we searched Unilocal and found this place. When we walked up to it, we were very worried. It looked like a dump outside. There was garbage piled up and a couple of used mattresses in the front. But then, we walked in and it was SUPERCUTE! Very colorful and modern looking. There was a long bar that was under-lit. It even had pictures of Jimmy Hendricks and Marylin Monroe on the wall! It was very chick and modern inside. I ordered an omelet that came with potatoes and some coffee. It was SO good. Potatoes were deep fried to perfection. Just what the hangover needed. My wife ordered the breakfast quesedillas. She really liked them as well. This place is a GREAT find. Would LOVE to come back! I’m just sorry we didn’t find it sooner!

I had been salivating at the thought of mofongo eggs Benedict with pork weeks before the trip and had this restaurant bookmarked on Unilocal for weeks before our trip. We finally came to try it on Sunday, and much to my dismay, the Benedict was not on the menu. This was A-ok, considering the service was AMAZING, and they had a special two course menu that came with your choice of two beverages of your choice for 18 $. This was a great deal, since sometimes in Miami, 18 $ only covers the cost of your two mimosas. We opted for two lattes because they were so delicious and made with love. On the menu for the day were three options, but we chose the huevos rancheros. See my photo below. Plating was perfect and the dish was absolutely delicious and hefty, we didn’t have to eat lunch the day we dined here. Even more amazing is that they serve breakfast all day, so if you miss your hotel breakfast, you can come here and get something way better for more bang for your buck. While we were dining here, one of the ladies, Alejandra, mentioned that it was jazz night and advised us that we should definitely go. We loved this. She also told us other good less touristy spots, and it really made the experience even more exceptional. The breakfast came with these delicious fruit skewers with honey and a slithered almonds, like a delicious little dessert. I would not only recommend this restaurant but wish we had one in coral gables. Definitely don’t miss out. Best service in town.
