Euforia

Thanks Unilocal users for recommending Euforia! I wanted a relaxing massage on my first day in Puerto Rico and that’s what I got. Harold was amazing! He applied the right amount of pressure to get rid of the knots while still making the massage comfortable. He incorporated stretches in the massage which also helped relax me. Harold was very professional and accommodating.
The massage rooms are in a different building than the spa’s address, so be prepared for a short walk for your massage. Enjoy the homemade pastries, tea, or a nice glass of wine at the café lounge in the main building. Check in and get a free glass of wine!

I had a great mani pedi done here staff was friendly and it was right across the street from my hotel. She was very meticulous with making sure it was clean and done properly I would DEF. recommend going here!!!

Once again thanks Unilocalers. Just had the best pedi ever at Euforia. Very professional, clean and attentive. My feet have gone through a long, cold and dry winter in New England. Conatic was fantastic, ask for her. She scrubbed a seasons worth of dry feet away until they were smooth and shiny. I choose red polish and when I told her I liked sparkles she added some gold sparkles. My toes have never looked better.

Euforia provided a great nail service and were very helpful and friendly. My nails look great for my vacation and the ladies at the front desk even helped find sun hats for me at the store next door for my trip to Old San Juan while my nails dried.

Harold & Ruth!!! Amazinggg at what they do, I brought a friend for a couples massage and we were both in complete bliss. I will definitely be booking another appt. whenever I return.

Lovely place! I went for a nail polish change and everything was great. Kayla did a fantastic job. The salon is really clean and my appointment was on time. They have mimosas, wine etc which was a nice touch. Also the other staff members were more than welcoming. I recommend if you are staying in the area!

Terrible brazilian wax job. Not that the aesthetician was bad per se but the wax they use is for sensitive skin so it’s very weak and essentially doesn’t work. Nice ppl but definitely NOT the place to get your brazilian.

I was disappointed from beginning to end during my first (and last) visit here. Starting with a courteous welcome and a shot glass of Coquito I prepared myself for pampering. Things went downhill when my manicurist started on my hands first instead of my feet –because toes have to dry! –Then she opened a small pouch and took out her nail clippers and Emory boards (no individual plastic wrapped equipment here). My hands went into soapy water and manicure was done with no real massage or paraffin soak.
So much for the «spa» portion of the day. Proceeded to the pedicure sitting in an uncomfortable high bench. when done there was no drying area or machines. I was sent on my merry way with wet toenails that were smudged by the time I went across the street to meet my husband at the Concha hotel. All this joy for $ 80 with tip. Perhaps their massages are their strong suit. But not nails!!!
PD I appreciate Hilton’s response and it seems that your strong suit is massage. And that is fine. But the fact that there is no waiting area, no drying area, uncomfortable pedicure station seems to treat nails as an after thought. I am in town but have no desire to return to your establishment for manicures and pedicures. My low rating is for nails and pedicure only.

Our massages were amazing (Harold and Ruth), manicures and pedicures phenomenal, staff was courteous, friendly, and punctual. Highly recommended!

I found this place on Unilocal while in PR read the raving reviews about Harold so I booked an appointment. I was a walk in and waited about 15 minutes o one of their chairs. I love he purple décor. There is a free glass of wine with a Unilocal checkin. When it was time to get seen I was escorted across the street to the suite where they do the massages. I have to say this is one of the best massages I have ever had. I had an hour massage and I didn’t want to get off the table when it was over. Harold is awesome of you are in PR book an appointment with him. It’s worth it.

Great experience at this spa! I had Harold and he was great!
We arrived early so we sat at their bar and had some snacks and drinks. It was nice!
When booking the massage, they were very accommodating and always asked what our preference was. We had the actual massage at second location which was really clean and has a great atmosphere. I hope to be back in PR soon and will definitely come back here to relax!

I had an amazing massage with Amaury! Definitely will be coming back to Euforia on my next trip to San Juan!

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage for our last day in San Juan, the whole experience was such a dream!
Janira was my therapist and she gave me an absolutely perfect swedish massage.
I highly recommend the couples massage here, the room was so comfortable and the therapist who massaged my boyfriend did an excellent job too.
Thank you Janira! Next time we come back to Puerto Rico we will defintely make appointments at Euforia again.

Disclaimer: This review is not about the service. Why? I couldn’t get the service I wanted after waiting for 25 minutes after the appointment time because the spa didnt ask me if i would be ok with a male therapist. I thought this was pretty unprofessional and irresponsible. I do lots and lots of spa services all around the world and the Us and never have I not been asked by the spa. And when i was looking for another spa in PR (four places), each of them asked me in advance what my preference would be. I even paid to buy the voucher. I wasted 10 bucks and 30 minutes for a very disappointing experience. I got to say that the staff seemed sorry, but that does that justify wasting the time and money.
I also read all the one star reviews — it looks like waiting and scheduling is a constant issue. Looks like Euforia is pretty defensive about everything. Time to own up to your mistakes friends. Customer reviews make you better.

This is a SUPER LATE review but nevertheless still relevant.
I booked at massage for my birthday back in April. My two travel buddies also booked massages for the same dates and time (11am). They were able to accommodate us and also kept us in one room per request. Each of use requested the sports massage. The massage was VERY thorough. I needed it badly because I work out a ton and consistently get knots in my necks, shoulders and back. I felt wonderful and refreshed after. Perfect for a birthday!
Each of us were able to get a discount by buying the coupon online.
Each of us were also treated to a free glass of champagne by checking in on Unilocal.
Customer service: Exceptional. The receptionists were extremely friendly, professional. and willing to accommodate our every request.
Will go again next time I’m in Puerto Rico!

Amazing! Harold did my massage and I have never felt more centered. My mani and pedi is on point.

The first day I went to Euforia my husband and I were looking for a massage place. We got a couple’s massage and both of us were completely satisfied, it was one of the best massages we both had ever had. At the time my feet and ankles had started swelling due to my Hashimotos Disease. I mentioned this to my masseuse, Harold, and he said, «ahh a lymphatic massage.» During the massage I believe he did a combo of lymphatic massage on my legs and regular deep tissue massage on the rest of my body. It was AMAZING. Loved it. And when we were done the swelling had gone down considerably. Highly recommend Harold. He has a lot of reviews recommending him out there and they are accurate!
I have also heard that all of the masseuses are excellent from a woman I chatted with that lives there and comes to the spa often.
The second time I went during our vacay, the next morning, I got a gel mani and pedi. The girl was excellent and very detail oriented and precise. I highly recommend her.
The third time I came in with my husband on the last day of our vacay while we were killing time before we departed. He had a great pedi and i got a wonderful 20 min chair massage that they have in the main entrance. The gentleman that massaged me was very attentive and it felt great.

Booked a mani/​basic facial for me, and a mani for my boyfriend and sad to say, we were sorely disappointed. For $ 20, I would have expected far better treatment.
Also, we did come late so I wasn’t able to get the facial done but the cashier/​main lady wasn’t particularly nice about it – if anything, she was overly snobby for no reason. Was not impressed for the price and quality of service. Not recommending it.

I mean, wow… what an amazing massage! I got 85 mins full-​body and it was fantastic! I had Harold Castro as a massage therapist and he is such a pro. I am staying at La Concha and the place is literally across the street. Also convenient since La Concha doesn’t have its own spa and the spa they recommended was extremely overpriced ($ 265 for 50 mins massage, something like that).
I first wanted a female therapist because I know guys could be a bit rough; but, they were all booked and good for me, because Harold did an awesome job.
The massage was relaxing enough that I was passed out through the most of it! I woke up occasionally when he was working on the knots, but mostly was very relaxing. All my tension was gone and my neck and lower back feel great.
I highly recommend and will be back myself.
