It was a rainy day when I came here, I asked for the sopa del dia.(Soup of the day) 4 $ and it was huge. The soup was delicious. I also asked for a chicken salad and it was a bit dry. Look at the pictures I posted. In total I spended 15 $ for both items. It was good food for an ok price.

Open 24⁄7 this is a great spot if your craving something in the early morning. Food is decent, but not the best for its price range. I had the skirt steak, meat was chewy, over cooked, and needed more flavor. There are better places in the area for this restaurants price range. I would say this is more of a general diner as opposed to a restaurant that cooks authentic Puerto Rican dishes.

The food is delicious, however the service is horrible. Waited 20mins for them to take my order. Then they got my order wrong. Then I personally had to get up to ask for utensils and the rest of my order. Not to mention me and my guest got up to pay because even that took long. They definitely need a course on great customer service and maybe to smile a little. If the food was bad, I wouldn’t think of going back. But I will give them another shot. Hope they get it together.

An hour and a half for the waiter to inform us that the order had not been taken to the kitchen!!! The waitress brought our drinks almost an hour ago… But the food never arrived. I am not returning here… And not recommending it to anyone! *edited* the food is great and the price is very reasonable… The waiter Reidel who realized what his coworker had done treated us with kindness and even brought along complimentary garlic bread! He’s a true asset to the place. Just for him I raise it two more stars! In all, we were there over 2.5 hrs of which almost 2 hrs were spent being utterly ignored.

Very nice, open, clean restaurant. I had the 10 oz churrasco skirt, it was very tender and perfectly seasoned. The rice that came with it was almost too dry but was still very good and flavorful. Fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing like I thought it would be. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try the mofongo here before leaving Puerto Rico(had it at another place but was mediocre)

Only had some food, but I like it. It’s open 24⁄7! The Cuban is tastey. Big and well priced. They have a good selection/variety of foods. Not much English speaking but I got the food I wanted. I’d say avoid the more expensive places and eat here!

First stop in Puerto Rico and of course I had to order mofongo with chicken. The food was pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the mofongo with skirt steak and it tasted much better than the chicken. The presentation of the dish doesn’t look all that great but it tastes better than it looks. The mofongo was also too saucy for my taste. Food is reasonably priced. However, I was not impressed with the wait time. The server was impatient and wasn’t helpful when we asked questions about the menu. Overall very slow service and servers were not helpful. Our local friends were not impressed as well. Do I recommend coming here? Only if this is your only option. I’m sure there are other places around the area with better food and customer service.

This restaurant has a great mix of Puerto Rican and American friendly foods. Open 24 hours we went here with our luggage from the airport before heading to the Port. No problem getting a table though service was very slow– two of us spent 2 hours here and not because we were slow eaters. The food was very good especially breakfast foods.

This place is great. Service is always awesome. No issues. It’s Puerto Rico so just don’t expect people to serve you like mainland. Different culture. It’s like going to Thailand looking for a southern American waiter at a restaurant. Tip them well and they’ll treat you well. Love coming here every time I come see my mom down the street

Horrible. Poor service. We arrived at 5:45 am. Finally served cold pancakes and bacon at 6:30. Had to ask again for water, butter and syrup. Waitress arrived with these items in a huff. And didn’t bother to as k if we wanted more coffee or if the food was okay. At that point we told the manager were paying for our two cappuccinos and leaving…

Very basic restaurant with good food and free valet parking. It’s open 24⁄7 and I would say this is a solid deal. You can get typical Puertorican and Latin food. Prices are very reasonable. Dinner for two was $ 32.

We went here on Christmas Eve because there weren’t a ton of other options open in the area. Someone in our hotel told us that the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. That turned out to be true. We had some delicious mofongo. What brought the rating down was the service. It was beyond bad. We were exhausted very hungry. It was a full half hour before someone came and took our order. If there had been other options for Puerto Rican food, I would have been out of there. They were very busy, but they kept seating people and it seemed like people who came after us were being served. After we got our food, we had to grab a menu and calculate how much we owed because the waiter never came back. My husband finally had to get up and flag him down to pay. I kept trying not to be annoyed because it was Christmas Eve, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

Open 24⁄7 but miss the concept of all day breakfast in most traditional 24⁄7 diners. Would definitely benefit from an all day breakfast menu. Also no brunch menu on weekends! What is wrong with some managers!!! BRUNCHMENU!!! WENEEDBRUNCH! Not arroz con pollo or mofongo! Brunch.

Arrived today and headed to the nearest restaurant to my hotel. I had the mofongo with shrimp and boy was it good. Not a huge meal but very filling. Lots of locals which means the place is good. Would definitely return.

Los Pinos Café is a 24 hour establishment that serves Puerto Rican food. It has a nice dinning area with TVs, air conditioning and a very helpful and attentive staff. There is also valet parking! The food has a little bit of everything, friters, plantain, meats and seafood. Pair their fare with a cold juice or brew to top it all. If you are partying all night, this is a great spot to grab some munchies or «bajar la nota» as the locals say.

We got in late from our flight from New York and needed something to eat. The front desk at our hotel recommended this place because it was open 24 hours and it was up the street from where we were staying. We took a walk over and when we got there we noticed it was crowded. For it being midnight there were a lot of people eating. We walked in and tried looking for someone to help us until we were finally seated. We took a look at the menu and ordered. We of course had two Puerto Rican beers. A magna and a medalla. Good light refreshing beers. To eat I had the steak mofongo. The steak was very juice, tender and great flavor. My wife had the chicken in garlic with rice and beans. She enjoyed her food and from the little I tasted it was good. Oh and for appetizers we had yuca balls stuffed with mozzarella. Awesome! Anything stuffed with Cheese is good. The plate presentation not so good. At times it looked a little sad but didn’t affect the quality of the food. If your hungry late night in PR give this place a try. I do have to worn you service ain’t that great and I’m thinking because there so crowded people are running around trying to serve customers.

24hr restaurant in the Miramar neighborhood of San Juan. About a 20 min walk from Ashford Avenue and the hotel area. Restaurant is well lit, fair size, good food buy service can waver between great and terrible. Our server greeted and sat us, no problem. As the evening progressed it seemed harder to get anyone to our table. Literally took us 20 minutes to get the check and about another 20 to get it right, paid and out the door. So, I recommend Los Pinos for good food but be prepared to WAIT…
