Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Check-​in is across the street from baggage claim. Very easy to walk across and start the process. Very friendly and courteous staff. Confirm your rental and answer a few questions and your set. Suggestion — do not select pre-​pay for gas. You are charged for a full tank when you could probably top off like I did for less than $ 10 before returning the car. Head up to the 2^nd floor and you’re in a clearing house for each rental company. Enterprise had the most staff and the quickest set up. Car was ready in less than 2 minutes. I wouldn’t consider a Hyundai Tuscon a SUV, but with 5 of us, I wanted the SUV. Next time — Jeep Wrangler. Just as much room and a lot more fun to drive when you’re on the island… especially when driving on the beach. Drove downstairs to exit and the final check gave us step by step directions to Old San Juan so we could enjoy some sightseeing before we checked into the hotel. Return process was even easier. Pull into the 2^nd story, follow the signs and turn the key over. Done and gone in under 2 minutes.

I’m 7 weeks through a 3 ½ month rental of a car from the airport Enterprise branch. I’ve had an excellent experience with the staff of the branch. When there was a confusion over my renewal of the rental car (from the first month to the second month), the assistant branch manager Raytza took care of everything in a friendly, quick and professional way.
Also, when the battery of my Ford Focus died at 11pm at night, they had roadside assistance do a jump within 30 minutes so I could get the vehicle back to them, and then the rep Odemariz gave me a free upgrade to a bigger car with only 6,000 miles on it.
She was also very helpful and professional. She showed me how to use the SiriusXM satellite radio and how to connect my iphone via bluetooth with the stereo system of the new car. They can’t control if Ford’s battery has a problem (the vehicle only had about 25,000 miles on it), yet the things that they could control (such as being professional, fixing things quickly and treating the customer well), they did an excellent job at.
When I was getting the upgrade and moving a few things to the new car, I noticed the staff members were working hard to quickly process the incoming car returns, so that people could quickly go to their flights within a half minute.
I strongly recommend this branch.

Enterprise saved Xmas! Arrived Xmas eve at 11pm with prepaid reservation at H*rtz (let’s call them The Grinch) and were told «Sorry, we are overbooked,» and have no cars tomorrow (Dec 25^th) either. Mean, ol’ Grinch. Enterprise said, «Go to your hotel, have a good night of sleep and call us early in the morning and we’ll see what Santa brings you…» Well, we must’ve been Nice because Enterprise had a car for us, and our vacation was saved! Thank you Enterprise!

I was driving out of the airport less than 10 minutes after I walked up to the rental desk. And the desk is in the garage attached to the terminal. No shuttle bus. This was my fastest rent a car experience ever.
And the staff were super friendly. Also they did not try to upsell me insurance. They politely asked how I was covered and when I told them they said «OK thanks just making sure you’re covered.»

Just got back from San Juan P.R. I had a great experience renting from Enterprise and just wanted to shout out representatives Joel Colon and Jorge. I had a number of requests. Between both of them they were able to deliver a satisfied customer. I even left my Yankee Jacket in the back seat and when i returned two days later they had it waiting for me. I never expected to see my jacket again. You might be able to get a cheaper bootleg rental car but Enterprises level of service is immeasurable. Thanks guys. See you in december ;)

Rented a vehicle from ERAC on 06/​04/​2015. The rental office location has changed and now is in the airport garage. The new process is too long, I had to walk to the counter and deal with the sale rep, then walk to the garage to get the car (and deal with another rep), then drive out the gate and deal with another representative.
The sale tactic is annoying, «sir, you are fully responsible for the car and you’ll have to pay ‘Loss uf use’ in the event of an accident». HATE the scare tactic, and it is a cheap way of selling insurance. The loss of use is a very complex scenario, the rental car should produce a rental log showing that the car I rented was the ONLY car available in order to charge. But still, I am sure they can bill my credit card anytime they want. I declined the insurance, and I returned the car in good condition. The return process is easier, getting the car was a pain.

Our experience with renting from Enterprise at the San Juan airport was a good one. I was pleased that we didn’t have to take a shuttle and they made the process of picking up our reserved car simple & fast.
The only thing I was put off by was when we went to pick up the car the associate who drove the car up kind of blew me off when I was trying to show her a huge scratch on the car. But I found out after the fact that they take pictures when you get to the gate.
We returned the car with ease after having it for 5 days.

Customer service at the Enterprise SJU (now inside the airport) is as good as it gets! It’s easy to check-​in and the staff is very courteous. Unfortunately, I had a little issue with my bugs in my rental but they did not hesitate in changing my car with no questions asked! That’s why I give them 5 stars because of the service. The new car was great and they even gave me a credit for the inconvenience. You do not get that kind of service anywhere.
I applaud the management teams in the SJU and Bayamon Enterprise offices because they have done an exceptional job in putting together teams that are customer focused and really give the BEST customer service.
Even if the prices are a little more expensive than the other car rental companies in PR, I will always go with Enterprise because of the OUTSTANDING customer service!

Horrible the woman manager working there on December 28 2014 during the evening treated my elderly parents like garbage when they returned the car. She practically cursed them out when they requested help with baggage upon returning the rental. This manager went on a rampage. My parents are loyal enterprise customers for over 15 years. They treat everyone with respect. Unfortunately at this location respect is not part of their agenda. Contacted enterprise to address the problem and they didn’t return my phone calls. So Im writing a review to advise others

After reading some reviews I was concerned with what to expect. Other then it being a little confusing to check in on the lower level and having to go to the second level to pick up the car. The experience was just great. They where very fast, didn’t try to talk me into any additional services or extras and even programmed the radio to English radio stations. I would rent here again. Main suggestion select a car with descent horse power if going to the mountain areas.

enterprise is now right in the airport – no need to take a shuttle – I have used them
the past 2 years & am using them again this year – I have been very pleased with
them – just found out that you can get delta miles by using them – check with delta
on the procedure – your car insurance from the states does not protect you here – to
avoid the costly insurance imposed at car rental places, use your american
express card – if you want to be extra covered for up to 42 days, get american
express’s ‘premium car rental protection’ – it only costs $ 25 for the entire rental
period – call 1−800−2 639 669 for details – also regarding tolls – you can get a toll pass
at the rental place which is costly – I prefer not to do this & go to the ‘c’ booths & pay
cash every time that I go through a toll place – there are other good places for rental
cars like charlies & avis, but I have been happy here – national & alamo are right
in the same location as enterprise & I am sure they are both good as they are
probably the same company – get the ‘enterprise plus’ card for free & you will
get extra perks, such as free upgrades – happy travels…

I rented from them early September this year. The shuttle came in less than 5 minutes. The location was off airport, about 5 miles away. I had an online order and was confirmed and price was honored immediately. I was asked once if I wanted to buy insurance. No pressure at all. The car was clean with 15,000 miles. The return was equally smooth. And the shuttle to the airport left in less than 5 minutes after I got the rental car receipt.

Picking up my minivan: There was no line, I spoke with christina, she helped me quickly and efficiently, gave me my choice of colors of van (not that I cared…) and I was off!
My Minivan: It was great. We drove it around san juan, and out to the west coast. Worked like a charm.
Returning my minivan: With 2 cranky kids, a wife with a headache, and a flight about to leave, I didn’t have a ton of time. Daniel was my check-​in guy, he met us immediately upon driving up, cleared up my question about pre-​paying gas, inspected everything, and rounded down the time I was late returning the minivan. I really appreciated his help! We un-​packed and headed over to the terminal with no problems.
THANKS ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR SAN JUAN AIRPORT! We will be back.

This is the very best car rental experience I’ve had. This, along with Alamo and Nation, are the only rental places right in the airport. No need to take a shuttle. We were in car really quickly and it was fast and easy to return, too. Super friendly staff but they do push the insurance and fuel options very hard. But they aren’t nasty about it; they’re just trying. I wish all car rental places were like this.

The car we rented in San Juan was new and clean, worked perfectly. It was a Ford Fiesta, semi-​automatic and of course a bit jerky because of that, but otherwise was great. We opted to buy insurance because Puerto Ricans seem to be risky drivers. Beware that if you rent a car in one city and want to drop it off in another, they will charge you a drop off fee that can be significant (some have been charged $ 40, some say $ 100)! They didn’t mention that to us when we asked! The shuttle bus to and from the airport was nice and convenient.

The NICEST rental car location I’ve ever been to! I’ve rented my fair share of cars and different companies (including enterprise), and this location had the NICEST people I’ve ever dealt with at a rental car agency. They actually asked if I had your own insurance, never got that question before.
My bill didn’t have any added fees, and came out to whatever I was quoted. So maybe they changed their policy.

Rented my car here from 9÷19−9÷23 with no problems at all! From the moment we walked in we received great customer service. Everyone was helpful and wasn’t pushy at all. I rented online through a 3^rd party and was told there wouldn’t be a young drivers fee. They did try to charge me when I arrived but I explained what was told to me and they did not charge me. I ended up paying $ 95 for 4 days for an economy car. It was a small 2 door scion but perfect for us! I also got to use my own car insurance which saved us a lot of money too (check with your insurance company first, don’t assume). Turning in the car was easy! Pulled up and they had me leave the engine on looked at the car real quick and told me to have a safe flight and the shuttle service was waiting for us. I would rent here again.

Quick and easy. Ask your insurance agent what you need ahead of time, by means of coverage. This will help you navigate the process in place.
Over all we were into our car within minutes and when we returned they had us onto the van within minutes.

Great service and attention would use them again and again. They say renting is one of the most stressful consumer experiences I beg to differ I enjoyed renting my car with enterprise rent-​a-​car.

As others have said, your bill will be different from the online price quoted. The car did it’s job and didn’t break down, so have another star for that.
