Best meal we had in Puerto Rico. Mixed ceviche was delectable. The churrasco was awesome(tender and seasoned perfectly). The calamari was also excellent. Enjoyed the meal so much we forgot to take a picture until we had half eaten everything. Definitely worth a visit. Only detractor is the parking — which is extremely limited.

Amazing food. Best Tostones ever. Visited them 15 minutes before closing to order to go but the staff immediately seated us, were friendly, attentive, and never complained.

My friend met the owner of ceviche house at the Mariott where we were staying through one of the managers at the casino where she was playing. He invited her and her group to his restaurant stressing the personal attention he would provide regarding him cooking and picking special dishes out for us. We looked at the Unilocal reviews and they were great! We notified the owner of our time we would like reservations the day of and he was very accommodating! We arrived on time and the place was packed! We were immediately seated. The owner came to greet us and asked us if we had allergies and our likes and dislikes. He asked us to have trust with him regarding our dinner and he will have the chef prepare for us some of the favorites at his restaurant! The sangria was fabulous we had two pitchers! For starters we had tostones, yuca Frita and calamari. They were large portions and very tasty! Next dish was their well know ceviche! We had two huge plates that the six of us shared and had left overs. The seafood was very fresh! After that we had a seafood fried rice it was also a large serving it was soooooo amazing! Last we were served afajores, tres leeches and a pistacio cake!!! Omg! We walked out of the restaurant feeling absolutely stuffed in a food coma! The service and food was the best I’ve had during my stay in Puerto Rico. The owner even wanted to get his employee to drive us back to our hotel! He said he has guests that arrange for pick up and drop off when dining at his restaurant! The cost of our meal was extremely reasonable. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect way to enjoy our last night in Puerto Rico! Tops off to the owner for making us tourists feel welcomed! Great service and food. I will definitely return if in the area again!

I’m a little iffy when it comes to ceviche, because everyone makes it different. Some places make it sweet and others don’t. But let me tell you, this ceviche was really good, not sweet at all. You can choose from the size you want, small to large. With a medium size I was satisfied I could have had some extra to go but it was too good to leave for later.

I’ll chalk this up to a bad experience but –No water refills –No waiter assigned to our table, service by committee and it was terrible –Dishes were very dry and overcooked –We had to ask multiple times for dishes and side items –Waited 30 min between appetizers

The food was AMAZING! Shrimp ceviche and the fried calamari were super delicious. Did not disappoint! What was subpar was the service. We waited more than 20 minutes to get charged and when asked where our card was, staff got sassy with us.

Best Ceviche I’ve had in PR for the last 3 years! I took a star bc they are cutting portions and adding lettuce which sucks but it’s still so good! Kind of a hidden gem!

I had previously not heard anything good about this place, but as it is within walking distance from my residence, I decided to give it a try. We ordered the small mixto ceviche and the seafood paella. The ceviche was good, though there was a mix up and the waitress did not present it to us until quite late. The seafood paella was a bit oily, and tasted a bit curry like, but nonetheless tasted good. What I would say is that the restaurant needs to improve on customer service. Our waitress did not check up on us once and never refilled our waters despite the being empty for half the meal.

Best mahi mahi ceviche so far. Also the toasted corn on the ceviche was a Bomb! Next I should try the mixed ceviche. Quick service and very polite. Is a bit more expensive thatn others peruvian restaurants, but is worth it.

I realize we are in Puerto Rico and this is Peruvian cuisine, but the food here is delicious. I ordered the mixed ceviche and a full order of tostones. The ceviche had the perfect balance of citrus and the shrimp, fish, conch and octopus were all tender. Tostones were the best in Puerto Rico. They were cook thoroughly, super thin and served piping hot(the way they should always be served). The green and red sauces were delicious too.

Probably the BEST Peruvian food I have ever had — and I’ve spent time in Peru. Excellent ambiance and really nice wait staff. We ordered the ceviche, chaufa(Peruvian-Chinese fried rice), skirt steak, and flan. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and nuanced. The steak was buttery and tender. Definitely a fantastic spot and even better if you’re in PR and want a break from the mofongo.

Yum yum yum! The place gets packed with locals which is always a great sign. Coming from NY, we have Pio Pio and typical peruvian chicken accessible. We asked for it there but they looked at us strangely when we asked for the roasted chicken. They only had grilled chicken or fried chicken but we still had the green sauce which was fantastic. Their calamari was fried to perfection, and fish ceviche was mouthwatering! Everyone loved it. The seafood paella and lomo saltado was also to die for. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

Dinner at Ceviche House was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Rico. I came here with my sister and brother in law on a busy Thursday night as there were a few groups outside waiting to be seated. Luckily, since we had a reservation, we were able to get a table right away. We started off with an order of fish ceviche, shrimp ceviche, and tostones. While both ceviches were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor the fish ceviche was the winner — a.m.a.z.i.n.g! The tostones were the best I’ve had in PR so far. Not too thick or dense and they came out piping hot. For our entrees we shared a seafood paella and a plate of fried shrimp. The paella was delicious and was overflowing with all kinds of delicious seafood: shrimp, mussels, calamari, you name it! Definitely enough to share among 2 – 3 people. The fried shrimp was also crispy and flavorful. Overall, dinner was exceptional and service was good. This place is a must if you’re ever in PR!

Very very fresh ceviche(comes garnished with fried plantain and yuca… yum!). I definitely recommend the flank steak with mixed rice and beans. Seriously the best rice and beans I’ve ever had– you won’t regret it!

Forgot to take a photo of my dessert(coconut flan) AGAIN! An outstanding meal. Peruvian corn for appetizer, ceviche pescado-bursting with lime & cilantro flavor & an amazing coconut flan & expresso for dessert. What could be better? Ceviche House is a fabulous restaurant. Looking forward to next year!

Yum. Had the mixed ceviche single serving and some fried calamari. Both were delicious. Well seasoned and not overpowering. Be forewarned the large serving is huge and perfect for sharing. My mom had the seafood soup. It Came with beans that were very flavorful and rice. It was tasty and mild with lots of seafood in it We tried the fried green plantains. Those didn’t really rock my world but weren’t bad really. The best part was the cheese flan. Omg it’s to die for. Kindof a cross between cheesecake and custard. It’s lighter, not as dense but really yummy! I’d come here just for that! Full meal was $ 61.71 plus tip so about $ 74.00 total! Yea! Ouch! But it was good so a tiny bit less painful.

Food: — Mariscos Paella: Spanish rice, shrimp, mussels, and fish topped with red bell peppers and cilantro. This plate was delicious! It had great flavor and was huge! 4.5÷5 — Mixto Cerviche: Fish, squid, and shrimp cerviche mixed with purple onions and cilantro. I’m not a huge cerviche person but this dish was pretty good. 4⁄5 — Yuca Fritas: Yuca root pieces, fried to make a delicious side dish. 4⁄5 — Service: Our waitress didn’t speak English so we had a hard time communicating with her. People who came after us got served before us. It wasn’t just one table, it was three. We were starting to think they forgot to put our order in. We were one of the first people to come in. 3⁄5 Final Thoughts: Good food, but kind of pricey.

The best shrimp ceviche I ever had! Ceviche: Highly recommended this place instead of other restaurants that offer ceviche because they specialize it here, so why not try it here. It comes with sweet potatoes that melt in your mouth. Also includes Peruvian corn on the sides, which add a crunchy texture to the dish. Rice: Not sure how long it take for them to make rice, but my boyfriend and I waited for 45 minutes for his stir fried rice over skirt steak order to come out. The delay kills it all. However, the dish itself was not bad. Very favorable with a hint of curry. I’m not a big fan of curry. However, the taste of curry in this dish did not bother me. Calamari: I had better calamari in other places, but if you’re in Puerto Rico it’s one of those you should try everything just to know it. But in my opinion, calamari are nothing unusual. Appetizer: Potato stuffed with tuna This dish was incredible. I don’t ever have tuna, even in sushi. But this is a must try dish. The paste is tasty, and the fresh red onion aftertaste leave an unforgettable experience. This visit would have been a «five stars» experience if the rice dish didn’t take 45 minutes to get to the table because on top of excellent food. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and polite. They always check up on you after every 5 – 10 minutes.

Parking is a bit tricky if you have a car and looks can be deceiving from the exterior of the restaurant. When we arrived, the lot was full with cars spilling out onto the sidewalks and blocking other cars. We almost went somewhere else but decided to stop in anyway. The restaurant wasn’t even half of its capacity and we were able to get a table for 6 quickly. The clientele included both locals and tourists. Almost every table had a pitcher of sangria and dishes to share. The girls started off with a pitcher of white sangria that was enough to fill four glasses. I liked the fruit garnishes in the wine glasses. The white sangria was on the sweeter side and reminded me of a tropical mixed drinks instead of a wine based drink. For starters, we shared Papas a la Huancaina, a Peruvian potato dish served with a creamy cheese sauce similar to Bechamel along with an appetizer combo and tostones. The Peruvian appetizer dish was very rich and heavy but I LOVED it. After all, I do love Bechamel, and Hollandaise sauce, pretty much anything thick and creamy. Since we were at the Ceviche House, of course we HAD to get a couple orders of ceviche. We went with the conch and mixed seafood. Both were good but we asked for extra lime to give it an extra zest. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach. We were full off the appetizers and ceviche but we still had 2 rice plates coming out. The seafood paella was very good. It was served with a «salsa» that resembled pico de gallo with onions, tomato, lime juice etc. I can’t say the same about my «pick», which was the Chinese style beef fried rice. It was extremely salty and inedible. That was probably the worst dish for the entire vacation. The meal was a bit pricey and set us back $ 182.00 with tip and tax. That included a pitcher of sangria, a couple beers, an appetizer sampler and a Peruvian appetizer along with 2 rice dishes: Paella and Chinese beef fried rice. That averages about $ 30.00 for lunch per person. EEKK! I gave it 3 stars for the«too sweet» sangria, salty Chinese rice and steep price
