I love this place. Any time I’m lucky enough to visit Puerto Rico, ATLEAST one trip to Rex Ice Cream HAS to happen. I just visited the area last month and two trips were made. I can’t seem to stray from the coconut flavor but my mom ordered the piña colada which was delicious and my daughter got the cookies & cream. We all ordered a cone with one scoop, which was more than enough and it was super cheap! We got some corn flavored ice cream to go for my grandmother because that’s her favorite flavor. I always try a sample, but I can’t say I’m a fan. It tastes JUST like corn(and I like corn) but it’s ice cream… my brain can’t accept it! If you are near Rex Ice Cream, treat yourself! Go get some ice cream! Street parking only.

We made it a point to stop here based on the reviews and Rex’s did not disappoint! We ordered the vanilla and Parcha(passionfruit) ice cream. Wow! The textures were more smooth like a custard and the flavors were mouthwateringly delicious. It was like tasting real vanilla and Parcha in a cone, served frozen. We ordered the ice cream(cash-they do not accept credit cards) and walked across the street to eat it at the downtown park. You will not taste ice cream like this anywhere else!

this place sits in the middle of a main plaza/park in aguadilla. i have no idea why there are no previous reviews but it’s pretty good. it’s supposed to be an ice cream shop but i ordered the sorbet items pineapple, and fruit punch, instead and i thought they hit the spot. they were fruity, and icy with shards of hard sorbet embedded in your scoops to give it a different texture, which i liked. if you’re looking for milky, creamy, butterfat-laden ice cream(like i originally was), you may want to keep looking but in PR you’re prob just going to end up in the freezer section of the nearest supermercado.
