This is not something you see everywhere; a shop window filled with cooked chickens, ducks and hunks of meat hanging on hooks on display. This gives you a clue as to the nature of Love a Duck. It’s a pretty authentic Chinese food place. You can eat there but I stop short of calling the formica café a restaurant. They serve a wide range of food including Peking Duck which I have ordered(always takeaway) and it was pretty good. The rest of the dishes were pretty average but outstanding for being cheap. Although not the most elegant meal, the meat hanging in the window is also pretty tasty and you can order by the 100 grams, which some small lady will hack up with a large cleaver on an unwashed chopping board. Best not to think about the hygiene involved and enjoy.
