Maybe the coolest hotel in Town. Great value, cool bar. Only problem is parking close, but there is parking on next avenue. Be careful where you park. If you get a ticket, they take your front license plate first. It’s $ 17 and it is quite a drive from town.

Great boutique hotel in a great location! Rooms are simple but clean. Do not stay here if you vacation to stay in hotel room. The hotel is old but the landscaping outdoors is beautifully quaint and romantic;) Staff very friendly. I love the bar swing chairs and great live music Tues and Thurs.

We stayed here for one night and loved it! The location was ideal, the room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. It is charming, unique, and, I believe, has the feel of Mexico in another time. They were just finishing a Bio-​Natural across the street, which has wonderful organic foods, shakes, etc. Upstairs from that is a yoga studio. Everything you need in one spot. We would definitely stay there again!

Luna Blue is a GREAT hotel. It is simple, affordable, and the service is top notch.
People who come here are the kind of travelers that HATE RESORTS, and instead want a nice quiet boutique hotel where there are no crowds, and no endless drinks/​bars and buffets.
The Wi-​Fi is one of the few reliable ones in all of Mexico — with working fast service (10 – 15 Mbps) to your room. Worked great when I wanted to watch Netflix, check email, and video conference on Skype.
There is free unlimited bottled water in the room, and great staff that can suggest fantastic tours, and sightseeing that few tourists usually see. Hugo told me exactly where to snorkel where I wouldn’t find a ton of tourists, and the reef was incredible.
The pool is perfect and relaxing; almost never used, and they are just 5 min to the best beach in Playa Del Carmen. I should also mention there are over 200 restaurants, bars, and night life all within walking distance.

Luna Blue Hotel, es un pequeño hotel ubicado a pocos pasos de la quinta avenida, en la tranquila calle veintiséis. Es un hotel muy sencillo pero cumple con lo esencial para tener una estancia agradable. Las habitaciones no son el gran lujo, pero son limpias y cómodas. No tienen televisión por políticas del hotel, para que el huésped logre desconectarse en las vacaciones y disfrutar el hermoso paraíso mexicano. Se encuentra muy cerca del famoso Beach Club Mamitas, aquí se encuentra la mejor playa del centro de Playa del Carmen. Tras disfrutar la playa, te regresas al hotel a cambiarte para la cena y recorrer la hermosa quinta avenida, donde tiene una variedad de tiendas de todos los tipos y colores.
El hotel cuenta con una piscina, aunque los huéspedes para qué quieren un piscina si tienen un largo mar de color turquesa a unos pasos, es una pregunta sin respuesta.
El gran problema del hotel, es el desayuno. Es muy básico que no sabes si tomaste desayuno o no, esto si lo mejoraran quedaría perfecto dentro de los estándares de calidad del hotel. Es un hotel bastante accesible para los bolsillos más austeros.

Cuando entré a este hotel me maravillé, un caminito entre árboles, la alberquita hermosamente iluminada, era de noche, entonces la vegetación iluminada junto con todos los exteriores con mucha piedra, se veían hermosos. Los cuartos son buenos, algunos, te recomiendo que primero vayas a visitarlos y a partir de la vista, decidir en cual te quieres quedar, aquí aplica el famosísimo dicho «de la vista nace el amor». No es el mejor hotel, pero es perfecto como para llegar a dormir y listo. Incluye desayuno, muy básico, café, té y pan casero. La atención es bien buena, Juan te podrá ayudar en lo que necesites y es un señor joven muy buena onda que te podrá orientar sobre lo que necesites.
Cabe destacar que el hotel es muy básico, en cuanto a comodidades o servicios, por ejemplo, recomiendo llevar jabón y shampoo, más vale prevenir. El hotel cumple con su función de lugar para dormir sin esperar grandes lujos. Si eres warrior, dale, porque está muy bien ubicado y le echan ganas. El bar está bien bonito, no probé nada del bar, pero a simple vista me gustó.
