The spagetti was great. Pleasant, heart warming interior. A suitable place to hold functions and events. Uncertain about the method of booking the venue for events, had attend one event that was held there. Keep the place clean and looking grear always!

It’s pork heaven. The pork chop was to die for. And the«keropok«fried pork skin, amazing. And where else to find bacon gelato.

Came here on a whim with the boyfriend for dinner as we were walking along SS15. I really liked the clean and white themed space with unique branches hanging from the ceilings. I remember seeing a staircase so there’s probably more tables on the second floor but when we came on a Saturday evening at around 6pm it was pretty empty but built up later as time went by. The menu is so tantalising I wanted to order everything on there. I spent the hardest time tossing between the huevos rancheros and the char siew ribs so I ended up getting the huevos and the bf went for the ribs so we could try them both. Huevos rancheros came with 2 pieces of tortilla wraps, avocado slices, 2 sunny side up eggs and a scoop of pulled pork. Put altogether in the tortilla wrap it was tasty but when I tried the pulled pork on its own it was really salty! Still overall, serving was big. My boyfriends char siew ribs was a massive portion and we were quite taken aback! We wished it came with a side of fries too though, unfortunately it only came with a fresh salad ad balsamic vinegar dressing. Still it was super tasty! We ordered fresh fruit juices with no added sugar for a refreshing change. They serve a good range of beers too. The service was okay — was quite disappointed stepping in and none of the floor staff noticed that we came into the restaurant so we had to personally go up to the counter and ask for a table. However the food came fast and when we asked for sauces they were really helpful with pointing out the shelf of sauces to us. Prices are a bit on the higher end but something you would expect from a fancier restaurant i suppose. Our total bill came to 70RM which was very reasonable and we were so full. Overall a great restaurant to come to if you’re in subang. I will definitely be back again!

Hidden in between one of the quieter lanes of ss15, I wouldn’t have known about this place without the help of our wonderful social media Instagram and Facebook. As they are one of the few non halal restaurants selling pork burger, it’s only natural that I try their pork burger here. The burger that I tried here was marinated with a special blend of chili mix and was extremely spicy! It’s a pity I can’t remember the name but you’d definitely know what I’m talking about when you see their menu. The meat was practically soaked in chili and I was sweating furiously the whole time I was eating it. Nevertheless I did enjoy it as I am a fan of spicy food however I resorted to removing the chillies inside the patty in order to finish eating my burger.

Back in my university days, I frequented Hungry Hog with friends as it was one of the pioneer good pork burger establishment nearby. We were charmed with the cute décor of playful pun-posters, pig figurines, plush toys and mismatched tables and chairs. The menu was both delightful in name and taste, with all time picks such as Three Little Pigs(RM15.90), a triple pork burger deal of bacon, ham and patty, the Bangers and Mash(RM15.90) served with their home-made sausages and recipe. While waiting for the main dishes, we would usually order Keropork(RM5.90), it’s fluffy and crispy oily deep fried pork skin that you dip in vinegar. It tastes very good, though at the same time you fear your heart might give out or pop an artery. Once we were daring and ordered the Vesuvius Burger(RM21.90) and was sweating in pain halfway through, tongues sticking out all like. Vesuvius is a double patty burger dripping with fiery chilli sauce like lava(hence the Vesuvius name) but I differ. It secretly must be taken straight from the centre of Mordor to the centre of that burger, because after a few bites you just want to die so the taste bud screaming will stop. If you do intent to try, perhaps consider buying a large tub of yoghurt before heading there.

This restaurant overloads you with porkness as every dish is pork related. I didn’t exactly know this restaurant but so happened to find a parking opposite the shop on a rainy day — and you know its not easy finding parking in SS15. Its a very cosy restaurant with simplistic décor, just enough to create a nice atmosphere. I had the Three Little Pigs burger and my girlfriend had the Porky Chop. The Porky Chop was a bit too raw for our liking, but the gravy/sauce that came with it was good. The Three Little Pigs burger on the other hand was awesome. The pork patty and bacon strips blended so well together with the buns and cheese, yet the flavors were so distinct by itself. I really like it, and so did my girlfriend. The mash sides were good as well. The only thing issue was when we were eating halfway, a big cockroach crawled onto my girlfriend’s foot. So despite how good the food was, that was what grossed us out as it reflects the cleanliness of the place. You’ll never know what other creepy crawlies lurk in the kitchen.

Pork burger, pork burger, PORK! One of the best pork burger in town, and I mean it! What’s better is their lunch set that just slightly above RM10 depending on what you choose to order. For such a cheap price, you can get a pork burger with salad and fries or mashed potatoes on the sides, and a drink as one of your options. Everything about the burger is perfection. The bun is fluffy and buttered well, the piece of lettuce is fresh, and the pork patty is juicy and tender. Simple, not overpowering, and delicious to the final bite. The salad has a good vinaigrette dressing to it and the mashed potatoes has a good soft texture that just melts in your mouth. The Hungry Hog is one of my favourite budget lunch places. I’ve yet to try their candied bacon ice-cream, but from what I’ve heard, the savoury ice-cream taste just as good as their main meals. The Hungry Hog was a good place to hang out too. The whole place is painted white, including their tables and chairs, and they have cute little posters that says BAE — Bacon And Eggs and so on. There is a reason why I said was instead of is. The reason is that The Hungry Hog is currently closed because they are relocating to another street in SS15. I can’t wait for the place to re-open again, because I’ve been craving for their pork burger for the longest time now. I just hope that their new place will be as good as the previous one. Fingers crossed!

As you can guess, this is a non halal restaurant. It’s all about the pork. Or you could say hog. I didn’t know what to order when I opened the menu. The prices are also very reasonable. There is a huge variety of Asian and western cuisine and it all sounded so good. They even had their own specialty dishes like«Bacon and Chili» which is streaky bacon fried with an Asian twist of chili padi and garlic. In the end I settled for the Roasted Pork and Cress sandwich which was amazing. The pork was juicy and flavourful and the watercress balanced everything out. I also got dessert since the frozen peanut butter pie caught my eye and it was delicious and everything I thought it would be. But it was bit too sweet and rich so you can get sick of it very fast. Located in the quieter side of SS15, it can be hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area. Parking should be a breeze. The restaurant is quite small and only seats about 20 people so getting a table may take some time especially during meal times but it feels very homey with little pig pictures and deco. Service can be a bit slow as well so it might take some time before you get your food.

The Hungry Hog serves up a balanced slew of porcine dishes, drawing in the crowds, particularly during the night with its minimalistic, casual interior, friendly service, a delectable host of porktastic meals and for me personally«The 3 Little Pigs». What I particularly like about this cholesterol laden burger is the price doesn’t disappoint. A few things to know about me is, I’m cheap and I’m greedy. With a well sized chunk of pork, topped with a couple of slices of streaky bacon, a slice of ham and at only RM16, I made The 3 Little Pigs my go to choice here at the Hungry Hog. When will ever learn to step out of my comfort zone.
