This place is a sister shop related to the Mukha café in TTDI with cozy interior and reasonably pricing on main courses. Good varieties of cakes. Best part is they serve CHURROS!

Souka Bake shop bakes really good cakes and desserts! It’s one of my favourite bakeries so far. I came here with my friends during the evening because we were craving for some cakes. So what better time is there to go to a cake shop ??? Obviously, tea time. The interior of the place is really organized and really clean. There are both indoor and outdoor seating in this café. I ordered some chocolate mint cake which i forgotten what was it really called and my friend ordered the chocolate mousse pie. The prices for a slice of cake range from about RM10−15. Both the cakes that we ordered were simply amazing. It was moist and they had just the right amount of cream filling between the layer of cakes. The slice for my chocolate mint cake was also pretty big and i thought it was totally worth it. There were parking spaces when we came around that time. When i first heard this cake shop was located at SS15, i was already dreading about finding a parking spot, but this shop is located opposite Sime Darby Medical Centre which isn’t in the inside of SS15 but on the edge of the whole area.

Conveniently located away from the traffic-clogged central area, across the road from the Sime Darby Medical Centre, this clean, airy bakery has desserts as its main focus, with decent coffee and tea available on the side. The interior is spacious, and the L-shaped cake counter extends all the way to the back of the shop in a mouthwatering display. I highly recommend their Chocolate Mousse Pie — it’s silky in the mouth, and gloriously rich without being heavy. The biscuit base is firm, not too crumbly, and the dollops of cream on the top really add to the enjoyment. At RM10 a slice, this is worth every bite, and still cheaper than cake slices in most cafés in the area. Other standouts are the fruit pavlovas(RM15/slice) and red velvet cupcakes. Selections vary from day to day, but I’ve not been disappointed here yet. It’s worth it to keep an eye on their official Instagram page(@soukabakes), as different promotions are up almost daily — sometimes buy-one-free-one deals, too! The coffee and brunch sets here can sometimes be a pinch on the wallet, but the cakes are what you should come and stay for.
