It’s not a SECRET RECIPE anymore!
With several locations sprinkled all over KL I think the SECRET is out!
I went here after a little shopping. I wasn’t really hungry but was trying to try EVERYTHING and EVERY place in KL! I figured I was doing a lot of walking so why not try different places out then…

This place had a good appetizer menu and the DESSERTS LOOKED OFF THE CHAIN… does anyone even say that anymore? The first thing I saw was GREEN TEA cheese cake! I knew I HAD TO HAVE IT! So that was what I ordered first. Then my travel bud saw the black forest cake which looked GREAT but its chocolate so I took a pass and my travel bud snagged that up quick.
We also got a coffee and some sort of shake. I can’t remember what kind. We paid and took a seat, but figured that dessert will not hold us so we ordered some appetizers a hot second later when we saw a few tray of food passing by us!
We decided on the egg rolls, and fried dumplings. EVERYTHING was so good but we wanted something else after all the food arrived so we ordered a mixed appetizer plate with fries, fish balls, shrimp and some other little meat thingy.
Everything was GOOD but not the best I have had. It was NICE to try a few different items at a new place we don’t have in SoCal. The desserts were OFF THE CHAIN and the shake was REALLY DELICIOUS!
This place is GREAT for a snack mid-​day or late night. They also had some real food but we skipped that. You might want to give them a try. Nothing is over the top but since there are multiple locations its easy to grab something when you are out and about in KL!

I believe everyone perceived the name of «Secret Recipe» but the branch that I will love to emphasise is located at Syopz mall, Taylor university Lakeside Campus. So what makes it so noteworthy? Well, ambient! Unlike any branch their ambient here are extremely clean, simple and classy. You can always count on their interior setting, exceptionally cozy (their sofa– incredible)
Their dessert are prominent and I definitely recommend to try their (Oreo, Yogurt cheese cake, Blackforest, and blueberry cheese cake). Besides, their staff here are quite friendly and all. Absolute a spot for catching and hanging out with friends. If you don’t favor dessert, you could always went for their spaghetti and their chicken chop rice. However, don’t expect be too quiet at the peak hours or during weekdays. Though the best time would definitely be Friday during 5 to 8pm — pretty quiet and nice! My friends and I were here this evening, it’s super lovely here :)
Overall, my experience here are exceptionally. You could always count on their remarkable ambient.
