TAGS Spine and Joint Specialists

TAGS is a spine and joint centre for physical rehabilitation. As a person with scoliosis, it was really hard to find a specialist center that catered solely to scoliosis patients. Most private hospitals were great at diagnosing the problem but lacked any proper rehab program for long term management of pain.
The great part of finding this place was that they believed in a holistic approach to managing back pains and spinal abnormalities. I was assigned 2 separate physical therapists, one would give a deep tissue massage and the other would guide you through different the different back exercises you had to complete. Lastly you would have a session with the chiropractor and heat/​ice therapy if you preferred it. They were also great at monitoring the progression of the spinal curvature by doing yearly scans to ensure progress was made. Overall they were a great source of information and support.
