It was probably my first time trying Simple Life Vegetarian restaurant about 2 weeks back. Simple Life is also one of the more modern and creative vegetarian restaurants i have tried. Here their meals are very well crafted and planned which gives you a very fresh perspectives of vegetarian cuisine. As opposed to traditional vegetarian restaurants that I have tried, Simple Life is definitely one of the healthier choices as they don’t serve fake meat dishes (most soy based ingredient that imitates meat).
During my visit to this restaurant, I noticed that they are very well received by the local shoppers, probably consumers are more health conscious. Other than that, most of their dishes are served with brown rice instead of white rice which makes it even more healthy. If you’re curious to know whether you can live without meat or being a vegan, you can probably try this restaurant out.

This is one of my favorite vegetarian place in Setia City Mall. Whenever I come to Setia City Mall and feel like having vegetarian food, this is the place to be. This restaurant claimed to be MSG free, no preservatives, no colouring and cook using organic ingredients.
I like coming here because they have a wide variety of vegetarian set to choose from. During my recent visit, I had their ‘Organic Lei Cha’. It was quite an interesting dish where I have to pour the ‘lei cha’ soup into my brown rice and add in 7 types of side dishes that includes tofu, cabbage, chai poh, peanuts, and a few others (couldn’t remember). I was told by my mom Lei Cha is a very healthy dish.
It was my first time having it. I find it interesting but not that great though. Well, as long as it’s good for health, shall have it more often!
