At a time when DIY coin operated Laundromats were a foreign concept to the locals in Serdang, My Laundry was one of the first to open a small corner filled with coin operated washers and dryers. I remember at first they took up only half a shop(the other half was a goldsmith shop) and business was slow at first but finally caught on. I myself as an undergraduate used to bring my heavy washing like blankets and sheets out here because they had a dryer. They have now expanded slightly but my one complaint remains the lack of comfortable seating. Another thing is that their more modern competitors have amenities like massage chairs, coin exchange machines and detergent/softener/bleach dispensers that My Laundry lacks. However, their charges are very affordable and when I was there they had an RM2.50 promotion for both washing and drying. They offer both 6kg and 9kg washing machines and open daily from 9am to 11pm.
