Day To Day restaurant is my favourite restaurant/mamak that i usually go to since its very close to where i live and also because of the good food that they serve. Firstly, there’s ample parking right in front of the restaurant and around the building. The restaurant is divided into two parts; non –air conditioned are and air conditioned area. The non-air conditioned area is usually packed at night as its always windy and cooling there. The air conditioned area is mostly used during the afternoons, for people who want to use their laptops, and also for people who want to use it for private functions. The air conditioned area can accommodate up to 60 people during private functions. They serve a variety of cuisines such as simple malay, chinese, thai and western dishes as well as indian food which they specialize in. My 2 all time favourite dishes from this restaurant has got to be their TomYam soup which is insanely spicy that it makes you sweat buckets but its so delicious and their Garlic naan which is so fluffy and soft it just melts in your mouth. They also have the best dhal which goes well with so many breakfast items such as thosai, roti canai and idly. This restaurant definitely serves up great food and good hospitality. Their waiters are so polite and nice to everyone. Even the restaurant owner serves the customers sometimes. Although its just a mamak, the workers there are definitely very appreciative towards our comments and feedbacks as they always try their best to improve their dishes the next time around or even replace your meal if there’s anything wrong with it, without being rude.
