This is a shabu-shabu place which my friend and I have discovered as a result of another restaurant that we wanted to go to wasn’t operating — and I have actually visited this place two days in a row. The place is alright, and food quality not bad either, but they have a very special concept, which is that they are opened from 11am-11pm, for which you can pay a single person buffet price, and you can practically be there the whole day — if you wouldn’t feel bad doing so. And well, technically, it is not wrong. Apart from their ala carte and shabu-shabu set meal, which are priced quite reasonably as well, the other choice is to get the buffet deal here — priced at RM38.80, you get to enjoy unlimited beef, pork, chicken and lamb slices, seafood assortments and other assorted vegetables and mushrooms too. Their meat slices were actually quite good, just that the seafood here wasn’t really that fresh. Another thing, you get to drink free-flow fruit juices too, and there’s a wide range of fruits for you to choose from — I picked carrot orange. Of course, don’t expect cold-pressed juice kind of quality, but it is still good to pay such price and get to enjoy free-flow juices too. And, yes, they are still fresh squeezed. Desserts wise, you get to choose from some puddings and jelly that they have, but the highlight should be on the Haagen Dazs ice cream. Yes, good ice cream too. A pretty decent deal I would say — and yes, I would go back.
