I am curious though, why is it called the Curious Goat? Probably the milk they used inside uour coffee are from goat’s milk? Nahh! And yes guys, this place is all about goats! Goat deco everywhere. Hanging the by. the wall, goat ornaments around and goat emblems on bags and tissues! Their coffee is a must try. Their mocha is as good as their decorations. Lots of flavouring yet concentrated with the chocolate taste. Staffs are friendly and hyperactive. Very sociable people but sadly they are not wearing any goat mask! Sadly to visit this café, you guys gotta hassle up and down to find a parking. That would be your number one issue here. The second issue is that aren’t you curious enough as to why the café is called The Curious Goat?

The somewhat peculiarly named new café in Damansara Perdana seemed like an interesting place to check out with a couple of friends, as they seemed to be quite popular on Foursquare lately. I’ll be truthful though, The Curious Goat wasn’t an easy place to locate especially since they didn’t have a signboard up when we first visited! We eventually ended up Waze-ing them only to find out that we had for a fact passed that area multiple times already. The interior was definitely a bizarre sight to see. A good bizarre, of course! But still something that you would rarely witness elsewhere. Portraits of artistically drawn goats(I’m not kidding, these goats are gorgeous!) complimented the modernly executed graffiti piece up-front in a stunning fusion of avant garde nature. Coffee at the Curious Goat tasted pleasant as well, but I was a huge fan of their Nutella crêpe cake! Hardly a staggering taste of sweetness, but instead a superb balance of cocoa goodness and cake. Besides their drawings/graffiti the interior is still a little bare and unoccupied. However, The Curious Goat is definitely something to try out in the near future. So, BLEKKK your way over here!

The Curious Goat is a place for all goat lovers because of its extensive décor for goats, and goating(ha!) you to enter the place with correctly placed adjectives. They do not serve goat of course, for this is a café with proper café ethics, like a good cup of macchiato and a place for you to sit down to revel to the fact as to why goats of all things. Their coffee is renowned for their taste and texture, and I am enjoying my cup of coffee as I type this. By now I might have left this place, but come on, who doesn’t love a cup of coffee in a goat-forsaken place?(Ha!) The coffee experience has been amazing, and I like it here, albeit the fact that I am still wondering; why goat? Goat, I am dying here, and I am running out of puns. Dear Goat.

I’ve seen hundreds of goats in my entire life already because my grandpa used to have them on his farm back in the days but I did not remember that I’ve seen a curious one before. I guess goat is the animals that lack of curiousity because I’ve seen them eating plastic bags without any guilt and did not fall sick at all. Cut the crap with the stories of my grandpa’s goats. This is actually a review about a café that named The Curious Goat. Why? You better ask it from the owner by yourself. I’m not a coffee person just like I told you hundreds of time but I always found out that I always ended up inside a coffee shop. It remains as mystery till now. The environment is just like any other café around, cozy and calm. Such a perfect place for you to enjoy your macchiato and a slice of brownies that come alongside the Vanilla ice-cream on the top. Actually, I’m describing what I had on that day.

A recent discover for me, The Curious Goat located at Damansara Perdana is the usual café that serves coffee, tea and cakes. Coffee was not bad, but I liked the decoration of the place. They have nice graffiti painted on the walls. Would be a good place to work at if you’re looking for a quiet and cooling café to work at. WiFi is fast as well. The staffs are friendly there as well, was greeted with a smile. I ordered a Iced Long Black, my usual choice of coffee and it was quite aromatic. They have a quite a great choice for cakes as well. A cake called Taufufah Cheesecake really did picked my curiosity as well. Price was reasonable. Definitely a place i’ll come if I’m looking for a good place to work at. Biggest problem when coming to this place is the parking. Really hard to get a parking space even double parking is a problem.
