For the discerning coffee snob exploring the curve-ikano enclave, there is no better place to fix the cravings for a cup of hot café latte or americano than«Coffea». Coffea is of course an award winning café in Malaysia, with not one, but 10 outlets in Malaysia alone. Its signature café latte is a must for the serious coffee drinkers. This particular location at the curve, doesn’t disappoint; from its hipster cozy style of décor, with dark and light wood complete with the clean cut décor of glass that overlooks the malls major walkway, to its majestic wooden bar carved table, coffea doesn’t only serve good coffee, its also the perfect place for mingling after a nice lunch or dinner, or even a great place to set up a temporary work space on a busy day. The café latte is RM12 for 8oz, is certainly pricey when comparing other coffee places(when average prices of café latte in Kuala Lumpur is $ 9). Nevertheless the café latte here is worth every penny. The flavor of the espresso shot used here is perfectly extracted, where the crema has a nice light taste, without a bitter aftertaste. As I sniffed my freshly brewed cup I could smelled the deep, rich, and complicated aroma. The smooth milk micro-foam shaped in the classic leaf is certainly beautiful. They also have an array of fresh cookies, desserts and light meals. For those who dislikes coffee but have coffee lover friends, they also offer other drinks such as macha green tea latte, iced blended drinks, smoothies and teas. Parking is not an issue here, as its located in a major mall– therefore there is a garage located everywhere– only cons would be parking is not free. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor(al fresco) seating at this establishment. The service is pretty friendly and cordial and the baristas do know what they are talking about and could suggest drinks for the rookie in all of us, quite refreshing.

Much more spacious than their other outlets. The setup is nice and the glass exterior allows a lot of light into the café. They are known to be champion baristas and I love the variety in their coffee. The staff are also friendly and appear to really know their stuff. They occasionally release very innovative flavoured coffees. I definitely recommend this place! Good place to sit down with a friend and chat.

— The set up, ambiance, and music is great. — Slow, calm pace thanks for the largely empty mall. — Tough furniture, small tables. — Good for dates, not the best for group projects. — Flat white roasted too much, not much flavor. Good texture tho. — Black forest cake 7.5÷10. I don’t know how to review cakes yet. It tastes good I guess.

I did not have any good experience at the two Coffea Coffee but it all changed when I tried their outlet at the Curve. This outlet is a lot smaller and cozier as compared to the rest. Also, I find their staff a lot more approachable and friendly. Wasn’t snobbish as the ones in Bangsar. Additionally, I didn’t have their coffee this time but a cup of orange juice. It was really refreshing. I like this outlet but the Curve isn’t really a place that I like to hang out at.

A lovely place to just catch up with friends and drink coffee; located between the market streets in Curve and E-curve, the space here is quite small but is perfect if you want to just grab-n-go. Coffea coffee is surrounded with wooden walls and glass windows. Their cakes here are light and goes well with their coffee. My favourite cake here is the Tiramisu, which is served in a little container. It’s around(RM8++) and it goes well with my coffee. I get the chai latte here, as they serve it with such aromatic flavor. I can still remember the smell of cinnamon and the taste of the nutmeg and milk all together. The only downside to my coffee was the coffee art, for a well-established coffee franchise, I was hoping to have a decent coffee art on my latte. But I didn’t really mind because once I tasted it, I just wanted to drink it for days.

They have certification all the way from Korea on their coffee. It was really great, once you step foot into the café you can smell the aroma all over. And it lasts for as long as you are in the café, even when you leave. My shirt smells like coffee right after. LOL Well this is a pretty decent spot to grab a coffee and a sandwich for lunch or during tea time. I tried their apricot turkey ham sandwich, it was just normal, nothing special from normal sandwiches. I also ordered a lemonade as it was during a hot afternoon that I stumbled into their café. My mom tried their coffee and loved it. She had a latte. The barista is super friendly, greeted us when we entered the place. Aside from that, I also noticed that they serve desserts as well. I will try it the next time! :) The café is not very big, only limited seats. They also extended their tables to the outdoor area for smoking patrons. I love their glass windows, makes perfect lighting for pictures during day time!

Yeap, its me again. The odd one that goes to coffee cafes and trying out evwrything else except coffee. I stumbled across this café when I was walking around and didn’t realize they have one here. The last time I went was somewhere in SS15, if I am not mistaken! Anyways, the staffs were enthusiastic and friendly. They were recommending me what I should and what is their best seller etc. Honestly, I didn’t really pay attention, I just went straight to my point which was ordering their strawberry smoothie. The price as usual is similar as most café(give and take). The smoothies actually taste good but not great. No offence but I tried other café(s) that serves better smoothies. Though I might return for their coffee another time as I heard feedback from friends and acquaintances about it!

Coffea coffee was probably one of the pioneers of the ever growing chains of hipster cafés that has flooded kl in the past couple of years. It is also one of my favorites to go to for both their food and drinks. For coffee, I love their caramel latte and their maestro blend is nice and strong, good enough to keep me awake and sometimes even a little jittery due to the strong caffeine content. When I’m not feeling the need for such strong coffee then id go for their Madonna blend. Other than that, I also love their green tea latte however not all branches are consistent with the way they make it. The branch in the curve makes it pretty decently however others that I’ve been to such as bangsar have used too much milk and is too milky, not enough green tea taste. Then again it could be the baristas that aren’t well trained or are still new. I also love their lemon shower, perfect for a hot day as it is cooling and not like your ordinary sourish lemonade. Not quite sure how they manage to pull off a slightly different version of a lemonade, but nonetheless taste better than most. For cakes, my favorite is definitely their peanut butter chocolate cake. That extra slab of peanut butter really makes a difference in what is otherwise an ordinary chocolate cake. Then again, the cake itself is really moist and chocolaty so yeah. Can’t go wrong with coffea.

Coffea has always been my favourite coffee place since they have started their business, and among their many branches, this one in e curve is one of my top picks for catch up sessions. Not too busy and noisy, this branch which used a lot of glass panels on its architecture(its quite an independent ‘cubicle’ on its own) and a lot of wood for its furniture gives you a very clean environment. The concept here is rather minimalistic, and with their musics played softly in the background, its quite a comfortable space that they have created for us coffee drinkers. One common thing they always have in coffea is their sharing long bar table. If you come alone, don’t feel shy to sit there, who knows, you might end up having a talk over your cup of joe with someone? — hmm! Remember to check out your samsung galaxy life apps for discounts, if you’re a galaxy phone user yourself. If you’re feeling hungry and needed to munch on something, I’d recommend their cheese cake for the sweet tooth and if you want something savoury — please please try their quiche here, i find it not bad at all! On top of that, remember to show them your coffea member card if you’re a member. Or else, just flash your watson’s card here, and you shall be entitled for 10% off as well.

With coffee bars sprouting like mushrooms all over Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley, menus featuring the common espresso offerings, Coffea Coffee stands out as a place for coffee connoisseurs who appreciates complex blend of flavours in their cuppa. The establishment is easy to spot at The Curve shopping complex, with its aquarium-style exterior, and an interior design that perfectly matches steel and raw wood for a modern yet organic look. Inside, on the wall right before the bar, are diagrams illustrating Coffea Coffee’s two original signature roasting and blending styles; the Maestro and Madonna. These and other exquisite blends were made possible from specialty coffee beans, sourced from top twelve producing farms around South America and Africa. If coffee time at Coffea Coffee leaves you wanting more, you will be pleased to know that their blends come in purchasable packs for brewing at home! Unlike a number of coffee bars that thrives on their ambience rather than their menu, Coffea Coffee excels at understanding that what constitutes a good cup of coffee is a subjective matter. As someone who is quite particular when it comes to their espresso, my preference is for strong, aromatic and rich in flavour with a tinge of bitterness. For this reason, I am so glad to have found Coffea Coffee’s Maestro blend. If you are into a sourer, acidic offering, the Madonna may be the way to go. Besides coffee for your caffeine fix, you will find a nice selection of cakes and sandwiches for some light snacking. I personally recommend the peanut butter chocolate cake and the matcha tofu cheese cake. Lastly, here’s a little trivia: The word ‘coffea’ is the scientific name for the coffee tree genus.
