Look up as you enter e-Curve from their front entrance and you will see a big sign saying ‘Pelicana’ in a very attractive, white, italicalized font. Go up the escalator once and you will reach this first-opened Korean fast food branch in Klang Valley that sells everybody’s all time favoourite meat– chicken! Obviously attracted to all the ‘chickenness’ of this place, I was eager to try out their menu. Price tags here are pretty reasonable(?) as you can get a burger for the price of RM10.90(+RM4 for fries&a drink) and for 14 pieces of their Peli YangNyeom Chicken with 4 flavors to choose from(Origional, Charcoal BBQ, Hot Spice, Spring Onion), it is only RM32.90. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try the Peli YangNyeom Chicken but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon to try anything else. Their burgers look amazing on the menu but they are unusually a lot smaller than your average burger which makes it an unsatisfying meal. My brother and I had two different burgers and made similiar comments about them which is that the chicken patty inside lacks flavor and it was a very dry meal that was also served to us warm. :-( So were my finds disappointing? Well, yeah. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or go back there again unfortunately. For the price I spend here, I would have rather just walk downstairs and grab a burger from McDonalds. However, their branch in Sibu seems to have more food on their menu and hopefully it is a lot better there as well.
