It’s a decent choice if you are looking for some chinese food in 1 Utama. It is pricey if you compare their food prices with restaurants outside of the mall, but within the mall, it is considered pretty affordable. The food is pretty decent. You can get pretty good portions and you can opt to call a stand-alone meal or get a few dishes which you can share with friends. You can get lou shu fan, fried rice, noodles… they cover a lot of the Malaysian chinese dishes. You have the option to sit inside the airconditioned area or choose to sit in the open air section, recommended for those who smoke.

One of the best non halal local delicacy served in one utama. It’s kinda a hidden jam, as I’ve been to one Utama so many times a dive never noticed it. It’s located at new wing just right opposite of uniqlo. There is a cute pig standy right at the entrance so our Muslim friends will know it’s a non halal place. The interior of the Restaurent is like vintage baba nyonya style with lots of old pictures of people hanging on the wall. This is how Asians decorate their house most of the time, with pictures of ancestors on the wall. The 1st time I was here I ordered dishes and had rice. Some of my favorites is long bean with roasted pork. It’s salty and sweet at the same time. I love their golden bean curd too. Homemade branched with mince meat on top. Lotus root pets I is one of my fav too! If you don’t fancy rice and dishes you can order noodles too. Massive love their roast pork curry laksa, claypot Loh she fun. It’s great to find for tea too. Should try their yam cake and hand rolled chew Cheong fun. The only downside, it’s pretty pricey. A meal for 2 can easily go up to rm80−100 depending on what you are ordering. But taste awesome!

If you are looking for something similar to hawker dishes to satisfy your cravings, then oriental cravings is the perfect place to go! Do take note that this restaurant is non-halal. During lunch hours, this place is usually crowded. I just love coming here as they serve some really nice food. They have so much of different dishes on their menus. Here you can order ala carte dishes like vegetables, meat or rice or you can opt to try an all in one dish. The dishes that are most recommended here is their clay pot loh shi fun. If you live around the area, you don’t have to go so far to look for clay pot loh shi fun when you can just come to this mall to get it! Finding parking is also very convenient here compared to finding parking by the streets of your favourite hawker stall. You can request how you like your Loh shi fun cooked too(with egg or without). Another dish that I enjoy here is the curry mee. Their curry mee here is really big and has lots of meat and vegetables in it. They also add roasted pork in your curry mee which makes the dish 10x better!

When you’re in 1 Utama shopping centre after a long day of walking around shopping, and you feel like having delicious local-style food, where do you go? Oriental Cravings of course! Came here on a whim one weekend and it was packed! Although there were many tables around, we had to wait at least 5 minutes for a table for the 4 of us. We ordered the Hokkien Mee and Marmite Chicken which were both superbly delicious. And a plate of stir fried vegetables to balance out the meat dishes. Also had a plate of Loh Shee Fun with egg and it was good too! The little piggy at the entrance was what attracted by attention initially as I came down the escalator, and I decided to try it out for once. Wasn’t disappointed at all — although service that night was a bit slow(probably because it was a weekend and super busy!) but the food came out eventually and was worth the wait. Do note that the noise level here can go quite high because it is a small area with tables cramped right next to each other — so if you’re planning to find a place to chill with friends for the night — this is not the place to be. Just come here for the delicious food lah. Definitely try Oriental Cravings if you are in the area — worth a shot and you won’t be disappointed!

Well, it’s not something you usually do, looking for hawker food in a shopping mall I mean. But Oriental Cravings has really nice food which you will certainly enjoy. I enjoyed my Lou Shu Fan which is quite the talk here. The Hokkien Mee here was really good as well, I honestly didn’t expect that. But, big BUT here, I didn’t really enjoyed paying the bill *insert laugh*. It’s not a surprise though, seeing that it’s situated in a shopping mall. I also ordered some dishes like the Kangkung and Roast Pork, which were average, I much prefered the noodles I had. Nevertheless, if you’re here shopping or just enjoying a day in the mall, give this place a try for some local food.

Oriental Cravings the right name for this restaurant indeed, if you count the fact that the food here is actually pretty decent, and affordable too. Apparently, everything here tastes good according to my friend, and the fried bee hoon is some of the best he has tasted since the longest time. While his judgement towards food may differ from mine, I decided to try it anyway, and damn, that is a good plate of mee hoon. It retained the taste of the wok, and really tastes like real and grandma-worthy mee hoon, and of course, really opened my eyes to new possibilities for trying new stuff here the next time I’m here. If there is ever a chance that I am going back, then the food is undoubtedly good. Just putting it out there, folks.

So you are in a mall and you want some of those hawker food store food such as mee hoon, char kuey teow and hokkien mee. Where in the world can you find those kind of food in a mall aside from food court? Look no more this place has it all! Though located at a discrets corner, this restaurant has one of the best friend mee hoon I’ve ever tasted. Sometimes the crowd can be huge causing people like myself to queue but most of the time it only happens during weekends. The staff are well trained and the ambience kinda reminds me a bit when I was in Guan Dong, China. So guys, join the crowd eat delicious food with a very reasonable pricing at the mall!

This place is acceptable too since is more convenient and nearer to my place. I came here for family dinner only. Imagine coming all the way here just to eat at this place and then go home. My mum ordered the curry laksa– though the santan was not enough for the soup, all i taste was a curry soup but it is still good. We ordered dishes and eat with rice and the portion was enough to share with 5 pax in the medium size plate. You should order the Marmite chicken, Kangkung Belacan and others that you feel like eating because all is good. Even they do acquire more on the KL style such as giving more options for the food such as Hokkien Mee, Cantonese Fried Noodle, fried rice, curry soup with roast pork and many more. They even got soup for you to order — chinese style like spinach soup and so on. The seats outside makes the whole environment cooling and windy and even when we eat hot food, we dont even sweat that much. Though a little pricey for a family dinner but it is worth every taste in our mouth. A must try place if you are looking for a chinese style food.

If you’re looking for non-halal chinese food in 1 Utama Shopping centre, Oriental Cravings is definitely one of the places you should try here. Oriental Cravings is probably one of the earlier established non-halal chinese restaurants in 1 Utama shopping centre, and they are quite renowned here as well. I like their Braised Yee Mee as I find to be simple and nice(coming from a noodle fan). Other than that, they have really good service, in terms of efficiency and speedy servings even during full house periods such as dinner and lunch sessions. Other than that, they’re cleanliness is above average in my opinion which is good. However, I noticed that they have been upping their prices, though they are no longer as affordable as they are in the past but their cuisines make it up for it. I would recommend this place to those shoppers that is looking for non-halal chinese food to try this place out.

Fair price with really good food, especially for what you can expect from a mall’s restaurant. And yes, they serve pork here. So for pork lovers, this is the place if you must taste lard in your dishes. Their yam cake and other snacks here are very fast selling, they all basically will be sold out before afternoon, so if you are here for their infamous yam cake, do come early. Do also ask for their special of the day. Sometimes they have yam ribs or other special dishes, very fast selling too and not bad at all. Be prepared for a slightly higher price, but again, this would be what you’d expect in a mall. Oh yea, their chinese tea here if you’re not ordering those that’s in a pot, is not refillable. So you make your pick yea. If you like open air do opt for their seats in rainforest. Breezy out there!

Oriental Cravings is a Chinese non-halal restaurant situated in 1 Utama shopping centre. They serves various types of dishes from ala carte such as Lou Shu fan, Cantonese style noodles, braised yee mee, Singapore fried mihun, curry laksa and many more. They also serves many other dishes that goes with white rice such as stir fry cabbage with black bean fish, pork ribs, lotus root petai and rice wine chicken to go with white rice. Besides that, they also serve a variety of Chinese desserts(tong shui) too! Whenever I’m there I’ll always order their loushufan with egg and my other Half will go for their braised yee mee. Their food is a bit pricey but they are always full! Guess you know what that means. If your craving for oriental food after a tiring shopping day, do drop by to have a taste of it!
