Gosh! I didnt know this place existed so close to where I live! Lovely place to be at with reasonable prices for beer. Now, what caught be by surprise is the WINEROOM! My goodness. Love those bottles being displayed. Hopefully one day I will be able to try them. Now, the thing I dont like is, the WHOLE place is smoking area. Aiyaya… you cant escape smelling like smoke. Also, we were ‘upgraded’ to private room for free without any requirements. Well, the requirement is for you to buy 2 bottles of whiskey or wine. But you see, it was a weekday and not many were there, so we got it for free, away from the noise and smoke! Love sofa sets! and… did i mention? The service was tip top!

My first time here, Decors is nicely set with Liquor and wine bottles around. Big screen projector for watching football or any big events. From the outside looks old, inside is pretty cool. So I had a taste of their pork chop fried rice with salad. I thought was gonna be a big plate. Portion came out quite good. Ooh… the rice was really light, fragrant too. Pork Chop was tender. Everything else was just too good to eat! Quite reasonable price as well. Will come try other dishes too maybe also taste their fine wines.

This place is as good as a neighbourhood bar can get. Beers are reasonably priced, football is shown on the screens, selection of wines and liquors is outstanding. Happer is actually joined to the neighbouring bottle shop, so wines and spirits come from there. Guests have to pay a corkage to enjoy the drinks in the bar, where the staff will serve ice and mixers. Sake is the most value for money spirit to get wasted in Happer. If you want to stay classy, they have a fine selection of wine and single malts. The Executioner, The Innocent, and The Guilty are really nice wines. You can also find the Japanese single malts here going for reasonable prices. Ardbeg is also available every now and then. Happer serves food too, and their beer food game is the strongest. Happer’s version of porky fries is way better than TDH’s. Their deep fried watercress seasoned with salt is something else. And for those looking for a bigger meal, the BBQ pork fried rice(which is actually roast port) hits the mark. Forget the speakeasy bars or other fancy establishments. If there isn’t an occasion, Happer is the place for drinks and debauchery. You can go in shorts and slippers too.

This is one of my place to watch footballs. Everytime I got tired watching footballs alone at home or at mamaks, this is the place that I always prefer as my Plan B. There are 2 solid reasons why I choose this place. Firstly, they serve various types of beers at a lower prices. Any kind of beers do you want? Just name it and I’m pretty sure it’ll be there. Not just the beers but the wines and whiskeys as well. Second of all, I could watch footballs peacefully. Not too lonely and not too crowded. Just the perfect place for a fussy dude like me. Though the services are a bit lousy but I still can live with that.
