I highly recommend this place for good Mexican eats! I tried the Mushroom cheese fajitas, the frontero platter and the Chimichangas. All of which are super yummy! The place is half open air and has many standing air-conditioners. So, it makes it bearable but not cold. I like the staff service, they were all very friendly and helpful. They were also nice enough to judge me when I messed around with the Mexican hats that were put on display, haha. The prices are not too expensive. Would definitely recommend the place!

It was a friday night that my colleagues and I had our dinner here as part of our monthly r&r activity, to be followed by a stand up comedy after that. Frontera was suggested by our manager who is a frequenter in palm square, so we took her recommendation and indeed it turned out to be really good. They will ask you if you have a reservation once you’re there and yes, it’s wise to book in advance if you’re going in a group, or even just two pax for a quick dinner. The place gets packed up pretty early and that’s expecially when it’s the weekends. Serving a great variety of German beer there, if you’re someone who likes beer, you’d like the place. Apart from that, their food is really good too. Even though they serve a lot of interesting food dishes here, Frontera is still vegetarian friendly as they do have a few dishes for them, so no worries if your friends are not a carnivore. Also, their portions are usually quite big here, so it’s good for sharing too — especially for girls who wants to try more different food but couldn’t eat too much. Talking about sharing, they do have a lot of different pork platters and ribs for you to choose from — the usual porky goodness! Parking spaces are quite plentiful here, so no worries — public transport might be a bit more complicated though. However, you can always hail a cab from the nearby lrt station if you’re coming here by public transport. Overall, very comfortable ambience even though it gets quite noisy during peak hours, food is good and plentiful of beers for beer lovers.

Looking for some close to authentic Mexican food, look no further, Frontera Sol of Mexico is the place for it. Usually for me, I’d have my tacos and nachos at Chili’s and well it does get boring after awhile and a change of taste can be good. My friend recommended this place to me, and so be it, their nachos are superb. They put lots of cheese on it and wasn’t stingy on the salsa and jalapeño. Well done for their nachos. However, I wasn’t so please with their enchiladas and chimchangas. On two separate occasion, i tried them and both tasted alike. Maybe it just me not knowing Mexican food well but I wouldn’t want to have something different that taste the same as a different dish. Good alternative for their nachos and maybe their tacos when Chili’s gets boring.

The only place I’ve actually tried Mexican food in KL. They have a great variety of Mexican dishes that you can order from their menu such as their Fish Taco. This restaurant serves up authentic Mexican food that gives you a taste of Mexico. It’s been quite some time since I’ve last had it but when I did, it was quite good I must say. Apart from just the food, they serve a great choice of cocktails and Mexican inspired Margarita’s. The bartender always comes up with unique and new drinks so be sure to ask the friendly waiters/waitresses for whats new! They have live bands and student events once in awhile so you’ll be seeing performances once in awhile if you dine there. When it comes to Tex-Mex, many people would thought of TGIF and Chilli’s. Compare to these 2, I’d prefer Frontera at Jaya One. The restaurant is located opposite of Brussels, with a very clear signage. The place is very suitable for after work hang out with colleagues and friends to have some nice food(and drinks of course!). I like the Chicken Fajitas — served with warm tortillas, sour cream, salsa, and cheese. If you love burger, the you would love the Guacamole Bacon Burger. The homemade patty was juicy, and topped with generous amount of guacamole spread and melted cheese. Every bite was satisfying! Frontera offer lunch menu too. You have the choice of going Tex-Mex or Western. The lunch menu comes with a Tortilla Soup and a drink. The Tortilla Soup is my favourite! Packed with flavours and cheese, and I like the shredded flour tortillas in the soup. Frontera is definitely my favourite place to grab my lunch, but I always get too full after that.

One of the best chicken wings i had and also the beef! The such creamy mash potato melting in your mouth, i can never have enough. This place brings you BACK to Mexico wait, if we are not from there then it brings you IN Mexico. Cooked/pan-friend with its perfection and signature sauces, it may be quite pricey but with RM10 you can have the i forgot the name but it’s like beef wrap. If you want to try eating a good beef, get in here! Outdoor Seating — Yes
