Curious Corner

A pretty curious corner indeed! Located at the top floor of amcorp mall, you’ll find this shop literally in a corner. What do they sell you ask? Well, just about the randomest things you can thing of.
From what I’ve seen while browsing through, they sell posters, toys, diy kits, collectibles and many many more. I was pretty drawn to the metal posters they have in stock, a great variety, let me tell you that. Alas, I found that it just wasn’t in my price range.
The store itself is spacious and bright, hallmarks of a newly opened store. By booksxcess, they also run occasional promos which might interest you. At my recent visit, they had a mystery March thing going on. Funny cause it’s April, but worth checking out.
In my opinion, this is a great place to get gifts for kids and adults alike. In fact, if someone gets me that mosaic tile kit, i would be pretty darn chuffed.

I absolutely love this place because like the name says, it has have everything quirky and out of place! Curious Corner is opened by BookXcess is like a mini wonderlands for these few main items — decorative prints, board games, hobby specific books and toys.
The variety they offer is aplenty and I believe that in Malaysia there isn’t any major outlets that have so much to shop for in a place. If you’re getting some prints to hang on your office or home, please do come here and scout for one. On the toys and board games though, it’s mostly for young children and have less selection for adults so you might still want to head over to games specific shops for that. Overall a great place to shop for all quirky items, and another plus point would be the price is very affordable compared to market average.

Behold the latest addition to the Book Xcess family! The adequately named Curious Corner is fun filled with wacky goodness and prized items that will most definitely send you on a nostalgia high. I have always been an avid fan of Book Xcess’ quality budget reads so when I found out that they had opened a sister shop on the same floor, I was itching to check them out.
Curious Corner was still in the midst of furnishing, so it was slightly cluttereed when I got there. Nevertheless, they did manage to deck out their space systematically. There were antique posters, tin signboards, various board games and so much more! This shop has everything from Audrey Hepburn posters to the Joker’s face sculpture. Curious Corner also sells kooky masks from as low as RM3.
I would definitely recommend this place for all you TV Show/​culture-​savvy people out there looking for some amazing pieces to tickle your fancy. Everything here is super affordable as well as incredibly artsy. You should definitely check them out if you ever happen to find yourself in Amcorp!
