Cold Storage

Having been to many grocery stores around the Klang Valley, I have frequented many a Cold Storage wherever I go and I have to say that every outlet has a different feel to it. This Mutiara Damansara outlet is one of the best of all the branches because it holds a good variety of produce and goods from organic to non organic. I usually skip from buying vegetables at cold storage as sometimes they are not fresh but this outlet seems to have better quality control than the others so the items sold are not limp and yellow.
I also like coming here to buy Greek yogurt as the brand I buy is imported from Australia and I can hardly find it anywhere else except from here. The price aspect canbe a bit higher than say, Giant so if you’re not looking for anything in particular I suggest going to a regular grocery store to get your daily necessities. Cold Storage also has a full aisle of organic goods from flours, cereal, sauces and cookies so you can be assured of getting some of your cravings assuage though at a high cost. The meat station here is clean and hygienic and they carry imported seafood so you can always get fresh salmon that looks palatable.
One thing I have issus with is the organization of the aisles as during my first visits there, I often get lost among the items, not good when it comes to rushing for time. Recently Cold Storage has revamped it’s outlook and now has a café next door called The Meeting Place that serves coffee, pastries and light food so if you’re tired after a round of shopping, there’s always a place to rest your feet.
