Went there today and the 9.90 promotion for lunch is not valid anymore. The website is misleading and not updated.

Restaurants in shopping malls never really leave much of an impression on me. Only because I find most quality of food to be pretty ok or worse. And perhaps Chicago goes into that category. Cause I for one found it alright, though not exceptional. We made up our mind to go to Chicago as a result of cravings for pork ribs. Its the first time I heard of the place but we decided to try it out anyway. It was 12.30 in the afternoon on a Saturday but surprisingly the place only had about six or seven tables occupied. We put it down as being more if a dinner place. We ordered the starters sampler and a half rack of pork ribs to share between the two of us. The starter sampler consists of cheesy potato skins, ckicken wings(with a choice of BBQ, buffalo or spicy flavour), and nachos, accompanied by sour cream sauce and chilli corn carne for dipping pleasure. As for the pork ribs we chose to go with flaming sicy sauce. Described by our waiter as a shot of whicky poured on the ribs and torched on the spot. As promised, it made for quite a show when it was served. I quite enjoyed the starters although the chicken was a touch to dry and salty. As for the ribs, decent but not the best I’ve had. Also abit on the small side for pork ribs in my opinion. But it did satisfy our cravings. Pricewise, pretty standard for ribs. I have to say though that what made it a pleasant lunch was the service. Friendly without being too overbearing, they did their task to the T and more. Things like topping up drinks and serviette without being ask are small gestures but are what matters.

Chicago — world famous pork ribs and steak. You got that right indeed. Finger licking food! The restaurant doesn’t seem like a big deal from the outside but just get in. You will have a feast with the menu. Ribs, steaks, stuffed potatoes, you name it. On top of that there is a lunch promo for RM9.90 and if you purchase one main entrée your child can have one meal free. For all the ladies out there, plan your night out on a Wednesday and get to enjoy two mojitos at the price of one. They also offer pizza, pasta, sandwiches but they are famous for their pork ribs and it is a very popular place for dinners. You can even celebrate your birthday here and if you spend RM300 you get a free ice cream cake.

Chicago Rib House is a relatively new Western styled restaurant, serving up a storm for patrons of One Utama! With pork ribs as their signature dish, Chicago Rib House is most definitely NOT a halal restaurant. Nevertheless, they still manage to round up quite the crowd, and it was fully packed by the time we got there for dinner. There weren’t any servers at the front of the restaurant like there normally is, which was probably due to the fact that they were severely short-handed on staff and on such a busy night. We ended being seated only 15 minutes later, but our waitress did to apologize for the delay. Their menu was pretty-meat heavy, and lacked vegetarian options too. I decided on their Pork Rib Combo which was served with grilled salmon and two side orders of choice –I got the rice and mashed potatoes-, for a whopping RM49. Their pork was definitely a winning dish though, with juicy yet tender meat marinated to absolute perfection! Personally, Chicago Rib House was worth the visit and cash for me. Peak times are a little of a hassle, but be assured that they are most definitely worth the wait!

The first time I went to this restaurant was for my boyfriend’s birthday party. This restaurant looks small from the outside but as you walk in, you will realize that its much bigger and they even have a space allocated for parties. Since it was a birthday party, we did not have the privilege to choose our dishes. Instead, there was a buffet spread of items to choose from. The most memorable dish that stood out form the rest of the dishes there was the pork ribs(Duh! :P). The pork ribs were so soft that they were falling off the bone. The sweet and smokey barbecue sauce tasted very yummy too. My fingers were filled with the sauce by the time I was done. I had 3 helpings of the ribs alone! Other food on the buffet spread included pasta, rice, vegetables, mushrooms, desserts and free flow of orange cordial. In my opinion, all the other items were pretty average only as nothing stood out as much as the ribs. I had a very good experience at Chicago Ribs both from the food and the hospitality. I would go back there to try their regular ala carte menu and also to get more of that tasty ribs! :D(Yumzzzz)

So we randomly chose a dinner place from the directory and we ended up here. The interior was dim and we were shown to our table. I don’t know if it was just that night, but apparently they were short on staff and service was a bit slow. The menu was interesting, emphasizing on their signature Pork Ribs, which I did not opted for anyways. Instead, I went for their signature Ribeye Steak. I must say I was very satisfied with was served on my plate. A 10oz steak, fire grilled to my preference, and served with two sides of my choice. The meat was evenly flavored and my oh my, the taste just ran loose in my mouth, heavenly. I also got to try their Seafood Pasta, which is not bad at all either. The pasta was topped with squid, shrimps, and some mushrooms. The seasoning was perfect, not too salty, and you can taste the infused seafood flavor. It was a pleasant experience and we did not regret the choice. I will definitely be back for the Pork Ribs this time.

Chicago Ribs & Steak House is one of the steak houses that I love to dine at. All their ribs were using baby back, which is the softest and most tender part of the pig. Need not to say, it was the most delicious part! They have 5 signature sauces. I personally like original BBQ sauce the most. Apart from ribs, they have also 6 types of potato that customers can choose as side dish. I love their stuffed potatoes the most. Cheese was added in along with whipping cream. With half rack of ribs and a stuffed potato, your stomach will definitely been fully fed. Chicago also serves mojitos. Same, I love it much too. I never try it before, and finally got the chance to try at Chicago. It was a great experience. For your information, they have ladies night promotion. Check it out at the restaurant. All in all, Chicago Ribs & Steak House is a perfect spot for dining. You may plan for private event or party there. I am sure it will brighten your day/night.

If you are looking for some decent ribs, then you should come down to Chicago Rib House at One Utama Shopping Complex. They serve up some killer pork ribs and steak, and the place is always packed with customers. I brought my family there ones without making reservation and we had to wait for almost an hour to get a seat. So, a piece of advice, make your reservation if you do not want to get disappointed. They have pretty good selections of ribs to offer, and my favourite was the Honey Garlic. I don’t really fancy BBQ sauce, so the sweet honey glaze worked perfectly for me, as the honey toned down the acidity of the vinegar in the glaze. I would also recommend the Flaming Kansas City too, if you like to have some heat in your ribs. A shot of whisky would be poured over the ribs before the server light up the flame and serve table side. There were some nice heat in the ribs, but some might find it slightly peppery due to the black pepper in the glaze. Overall, the ribs were fork tender and finger linking good! Apart from ribs, they offer burgers and steaks too. Being a family-friendly restaurant, they have«Kid Eat Free Everyday» promotion — 1 free kid meal with purchase of 1 main entrée, and only limited to 2 free kids per visit. As for all the pretty ladies out there, every Wednesday will their Ladies Day! You get to enjoy 1 free mojito with any purchase of mojito!

We came here for one of their lunch deals for two at RM49.90/59.90 which included soup of the day, Pork Rib with sides, Bacon Carbonara Pasta, dessert and drinks! My pork ribs were tender and thankfully the BBQ sauce took away some of the strong and fatty flavors of the pork because I am not a huge fan of this meat. In comparison to beef ribs, these are much tinier with slimmer bones, nonetheless half a rack was all the pork I could take for the day! I didn’t mind my simple boiled vegetables sauteed with butter and I really liked the fries which is so different in comparison to normal fries. I can’t tell if they were real potatoes but they were slightly battered, very crispy and not greasy at all. I am a sucker for fries and I loved this! The Carbonara was really creamy and they gave a generous serving of the pork bacon too. I would visit again because I love a good slab of ribs!
