6 to 10 Grill has to be one of the only that serves pork with nasi lemak. And it would be cooked and served in a form of rendang. How could you say no to that? As porky person as I am, this is one place that all pork people should not avoid. At least, give it a try. I won’t doubt that you’d come back for more. At the same time, they have their Western grills that they are also well known for. Though I am not really a steak fan, I’d say they do grilled them steak well. I’d usually steal a bite or two from my parents as I would order the nasi lemak or something else. Also if you’re coming for lunch, you may have to park further up the road because around the area of 6 to 10 Grill, there are couple of offices in the proximity. And please remember to pay for a parking ticket, you won’t want the man or woman in blue to give you a summon.

This corner restaurant in Aman Suria is rather unique, in the sense of it serving up western fare like lamb chops to the infamous Malaysia nasi lemak. But otherwise, it’s food has always lived up to expectations according to some regulars since its move from ss17 where it once resided. So what should you order here? For grill lovers, try the sirloin steak or grilled pork chops with pineapple sauce at an affordable price. The Sirloin is only about RM20 and both dishes come with fries and a side salad. That is considered inexpensive for something like a steak! Nothing fancy but it does the job in keeping you full and satisfied, which is good enough for me! I tried the mushroom soup which was not as thick as I would have liked but still good to sop up with the garlic bread. And of course, one must try their nasi lemak, I mean, it IS noted on their signboard anyway so it must be good! Don’t compare with the roadside RM2 portions, this one comes with their famous rendang — the meat rotates depending on availability — and sambal. One has to agree that what makes a nasi lemak special is the sambal they use and this one deserves a thumbs up for effort well done!

6210 Grill used to operate in Happy Mansion at Seksyen 17, until few years ago they decided to move to be bigger shop at Aman Suria — behind Kayu. 6210 Grill is famous for their Nasi Lemak, especially their pork rendang. I, on the other hand, prefer their chops and grills. I like their Grilled Pork Chop with Pineapple Sauce. The pork was tender and the red wine wasn’t over-powering. Some restaurants screw up red wine sauce easily and making it too acidic and ruin the entire dish. Apart from the nasi lemak and pork chop, they serve lamb and steak dishes too. My family and I has been dining at the restaurant for many years, and we enjoy our meal there every single time. Do drop by 6210 Grill, if you are curious how does pork rendang taste like! Psst… it’s really good.

6 to 10 offers an uncommon combination of its famed pork Nasi Lemak and Western Cuisine, and while many common folk opt to for one or the other, I on the other hand don’t find food to be of a mutually exclusive brand. I choose to live deliberately. Being in the carnivorous mood, I went pork crazy and had the nasi lemak with pork rendang along with an order of the grilled pork chops. Both were equally delicious, and while some may churn at the thought of the odd mix of sambal and gravy, it still tasted darn good to be. Don’t judge, food is food man. The only issue that irked me, was that being someone who absolutely needs a good helping of sambal with my nasi lemak, the serving of sambal was rather on the small side and if you wanted extra, you would have to fork out an additional RM1
