Had my first dinner experience in Baci. Was introduced by a friend as I rarely stop by Citta Mall though i stay in Kelana Jaya which is quite near to that area. Environment was lovely. Size of the restaurant is just nice. All types of bread displayed at the counter which gave me a feeling that I’m really in a foreign country. We have to order the food at the counter. Quite rare for me coz i thought self service is more to fast food, small siZe cafes. We ordered a dishes to share, chicken avocado sandwich, smoke sandwich, a beef bacon fettuccine, a smoke duck pizza and topped up with a mushroom soup. The portion for each dish is just nice and for me price is quite reasonable. The food was amazing. I couldn’t find something to criticize because it’s just good. My only dissatisfaction with the restaurant is they close at 10 or 10.30. Though it’s attached to Citta mall but the main entrance of Baci is actually from the outside. We thought business hours will be extended on weekends but sadly we were asked to leave at 10.30pm(SHARP). The staffs were packing the chairs at 10pm and pulling out the cushions and they even off the music at 10.25pm which is the most obvious sign asking us to leave. If you are planning to have a long chat Baci might not be the best place. But if you just want to have a good meal. Oh yeah That’s all from me ;)

I love that you can customize your own salads and pasta here! The last time I was here it was for a friend’s surprise birthday celebration. I really like it here because they allowed us to decorate the table for the occasion. The restaurant manager and staff we were helpful with the preparation. We reserved the long wooden table outside of the restaurant, we brought our own table lining and candles to decorate the table. The manager was nice enough to lend us their beautiful glass candle holder to display our 2 big candles, which made the table look extra beautiful. Now this is what I call customer service, very well done. They were very helpful and supportive. Now on to the food, this place is great for having large group gatherings. You order and pay for your food at the counter much like a fast food joint but fret not the food is far from greasy and processed. This makes for a more organized dinner party and it saves us the trouble of splitting the bill according to what we ordered individually. Their salads and pastas are customizable, you can pick and choose the types of side dishes you want with them. I find this pretty cool, that they give you the freedom to decide how you want your meal to be instead of choosing from a pre-set menu. The surprise went off without a hitch we had a great time thanks to the great service and hospitality from the Baci staff.

Located on the ground floor of Citta Mall, Baci stands proud and distinct. You definitely can’t miss this one with it’s bold statements of white against black, a sweet compliment to their brick walled interior. My friend and I were greeted warmly by the servers when we first stepped in, and since it was a self service restaurant we walked straight up to the counter to order our dishes. I instantly knew what I wanted. A Beef Lasagne. I haven’t had a lasagne in ages, and I was craving for the mouthwatering Italian goodness. The Beef Lasagne was an average sized portion, and only cost me around RM18.90. Lasagne was good, but failed to be the spectacular dish that I was hoping for, especially from an Italian cuisine. The condiments were tasty, no doubt, but the entire dish was a bit cold. Well, at least my Chocolate Mint(RM8.90) was decent. Overall, I really enjoyed Baci’s cozy interior and warm service. They would be an excellent lunch spot or somewhere you could just kick back and relax with a group of friends. Their prices were reasonable as well, definitely a plus point!

The day Baci opened, I has been a big fan of their food and drinks. One of the nearest Italian cuisine cum café in my neighbourhood, this is one place I frequent when I need an Italian fix. They serve a variety of pasta. pizzas, sandwiches, mains and salads. I personally like their pasta. They allow you to add ingredients to the pasta you want with additional cost. I like it because you get to customise how you want your pasta to be. Their focaccia bread is absolutely delicious. It goes well with olive oil and vinegar. It is something to must have as appetiser before your main course. As for drinks, I like their flat white and affogato. They do sell ice-cream too and have quite a selection to choose from. And if you have a Pinch of Salt member cards, you can collect rebate points and when it is your birthday’s month, you get a discount of RM30.
