Wiz Cafe

Located at the ground floor of Bangsar LRT station, Wiz Café brings a little western food to the surroundings of Bangsar.
Went to Wiz for lunch a few times and they do have value for money lunch set for food around Bangsar LRT.
They have a variety of food to choose as part of their menu set.
My personal favorite is grilled chicken chop which comes with a coleslaw side and a free drinks (choice of lemon tea or peach tea).

Value for money; ³⁄₅ — slightly pricey but ok for Bangsar LRT area as others are expensive except for mamak.

I am working in UOA and this place will be my last option to go to for lunch. It’s quite convenient in terms of distance, because it’s just one floor down from Menara UOA lobby, but then their food for me is quite pricey and not as good as what you pay. You could easily go to Straits Food Company and have decent meal there for less than RM10, but here you have to pay RM15++ for their set. With tax and so on, you’ll probably paying almost RM20 for meal that is not satisfying even though their drinks is quite good especially their iced peach tea.
I tried few of their stuff like their Chicken Don, chicken chop, spaghetti aglio olio, and their bolognese as well. None of this food are that good. It just feel like they are cooking for you all this instant spaghetti and put on whatever sauce they can get on market. Only their chicken chop are quite ok.
Would not recommend this to people unless they never try it before.

They are by far the best out of the rest, at least for me :)
Lunch time is usually filled with people, if you come in a big group, you will be having trouble getting a seat together. It’s a self-​service concept, so you order at the counter, get a number and they will deliver it to you.
I love how they always play «just for laughs» and some Mr Bean’s old shows on their screen. It keeps people occupied and entertained, and there’s so much to talk about between the people you dine with.
One thing that minus their points will be their speed of delivery. On average we will need to wait at least 20 to 30 mins before the food arrives due to the huge amount of patrons in the restaurant.
But because the food is good, the wait is worthwhile at times. Just don’t go there when you are super hungry. Else you will be cursing from the beginning till the end of the day. LOL

This place is one of my favourites around work! they have really good burgers and fries, pasta with white sauce and more western dishes.
They do take a while to get your order. and it’s funny how you are with someone, they get the order and when they are almost done then you get yours. it’s also funnier that the forget your drink till you are finished with the food then the drink arrives. the wait is ok1 because they have this really awesome concept where they have «Just for Gags» playing on TV while you are waiting so you can have a laugh while waiting for your order! :)
My experience with there service isn’t that great but I’m positive so it’s ok! but the food experience is really good! so don’t let the not so great service stop you if you want to just enjoy a nice burger :)

Most popular spot for my expats colleagues.
They offer great deals during the week (RM10 burgers) and their fries are amazing. The prices are between RM10 and RM17 and the food is pretty good. Besides their fries, my favourite dish is the Seafood spaghetti.
I also love the panacota deal they have for only RM2 when you buy one of the set meals, and the funny things they play on the TV definitely keep me entertained while waiting for the food.
It is a very popular spot in Bangsar and I would recommended it more than other restaurants around.

It’s a very nice place to go for lunch if you are in the Bangsar area. For me it’s not in top 5 restaurants for lunch, but if you want to change and have some western food it’s a good place. The menu is not so big, but everyday they have the «signature» of the day, which is always different.
The sad part is that they repeat the same weekly «signature» every week and they don’t bring anything new. The food is quite good, for the price which you pay.
The place has a nice ambience, and it’s good for a quick meal.
If you want to have a reach dinner, I suggest you to find another restaurant.

Wiz is a café located at the UOA building in Bangsar, downstairs from the Bangsar LRT.
This is a very convenient place to go if you want to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. They offer seating inside and out and the service is pretty decent.
The menu has little variety but offers good options of western food such as pasta and sandwiches. The price is reasonable considering the quality of the food, and if you are looking for healthy options they will allow you to trade your side of french fries for a salad, which is nice.
The ambiance is casual, and there isn’t anything special about it.
