Ordered the beef teppanyaki, which comes with grilled beef, bean sprouts and white rice. The beef was dry and charred, overly spiced, the rice was dry and the bean sprouts covered the whole dish to compensate for the small meat portion. I would say that it is good for a low grade snack but not good for a proper meal. Drinks are expensive and no refills except for green tea.

Who doesn’t love Teppanyaki? Its entertaining and you get to participate while your meal is being cooked. I rarely go into places like this but when I do its quite a spectacle. The skills that those chefs have are quite impressive. If you have never been into one of these restaurants you have to try it at least once. You can choose between a few different kinds of meat and veggies but in the end you have a tasty meal all cooked in front of you. The seating area in from of the cooking bar is quite hot so if you can’t tolerate that easily choose a seat further away and enjoy the show. The price average is RM20 so I would recommend this for dinner as no one would hurry you up.

This is definitely one of my favourite places to eat. Why? Because the food is cooked in front of you, and you can decide who cooked to be. AMAZING!!! In the moment when you go inside you can choose if you want to stay at the«bar» and the chef to cook in front of you, or you want a side table. Of course, I choose the one near the chef because I love to see how they do it. The only downside of this is the fact that is very hot in that area. The good part is that the service is very efficient and it never takes more than 30 minutes to eat. Beside that, the price is very affordable, most sets being below RM20. I’m going here very often, and I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy the food here. The meat is always succulent and the bean sprouts done just right. The last time I was here, aside from the beef teppanyaki, I also had the gyoza which was delicious! Crispy on the outside, and full of stuffing on the inside. Service is always efficient. I never take more than 30 minutes to eat here, so truly a place to be when you’re rushing. Price is very affordable too, so this place wins.

I’m a crazy fan of Japanese food so I could be biased. or not! :D I simply love the tastes and smell! it just draws me in! I really can’t wait to go back to this place! so in short, you get to taste amazing Salmon Fish or Beef Teppanyaki which is super tasty! I’m a sucked for that dish! definitely go for it if you want a change from Sushi itself. The prices are decent! you can get a meal from 10 to 15rm and enjoy the amazing super tasty feel of it!

You know coming here is always exciting because you get to feel the heat and watch your food being prepared right in front of you. I would recommend this place if you are craving for good Asian stir fries that is with straightforward flavors. This place is Halal too. Most sets are below RM20 and it makes a good satisfying lunch that comes with your much needed protein and fiber. I would also say t’s a perfect place for a casual first date if you’re not much of a talker and if you’re uncomfortable with being face to face with someone because the sitting is around the isle, and the skilled cook in front of you fills up awkward silences and makes an activity. Joke! Anyway, the food is pretty good. Normally, you either go for the chicken, beef or fish and it is seasoned well and it comes with this huge portion of bean sprouts and cabbage, and also white rice. What I love is that they also give you fried sliced garlic that is crunchy and come on, garlic just adds flavor to any asian dish. If you are a rice critic, you wouldn’t be impressed though because they are sometimes served a little stale and it is not«biji biji». I normally go for the Salmon and it is a decent portion. They also have seafood option, soups and sushi if you don’t feel like eating rice. But then, you might as well go someplace else for those, no?

I wouldn’t say It was my first saw Teppanyaki in Mid valley yet after various encounter I finally muster my courage to give it a try. They just a okay-food. it wasn’t as good as what people have described(thanks to my friend) Maybe because of the ingredients use is mile? Anyhow I have no idea. One thing special about Teppanyaki is that their chef would cook in front you, showing their skills, most importantly the cleanliness. I believe countless people have encounter unhygienic food at various places but I could assured you Teppanyaki is safe. The chef would cooked the meat and vegetables at instant. Probably served you in efficiency but yet the taste is just-okay. Nothing extravaganza. Just like a simple well home cooked food.

If you are alone and you are not used to eating by yourself in a café or a restaurant, try Teppanyaki! They are so wise in a setting tables and the bar, where everyone sits next to each other and it just feels like you are eating with a bunch of people. Another cool thing about this restaurant that the whole cooking process is happening right in front of you! You are seeing how the food.

If you are picky over how the meats or anything else, please don’t bother to come in here, as my opinion I would only come in when I am super hungry without any option around, because their food is not that good or fresh anymore, I get three times diarrhea from different branch, so far people came during lunch time because of week day working, tepanyaki is quick and easy, also their price is reasonable, as my opinion, I will never come back for this.

Now this is what runs through my mind every time I walk into a Teppanyaki joint«The training grounds of Warrior-Ninja-Chefs who practice the deadly art of… cooking.» Those mad skills on the hot plate are not to be reckoned with. They sleep upside down in split positions while balancing 15 bowls of rice on each foot daily. Its true, I asked. I would go crazy for their Chicken Teppanyaki. Watching them practice their culinary martial arts is always a maximum thrill for me. Trying to decipher the ingredients that they use and mentally taking notes on what to add to the hot plate first is an internal adventure that I cant help but go on. The Mid Valley Ninja-Chef Monastery branch has undergone a Major renovation since it first opened. And the layout now is by far the best in my opinion. It consists of three U-shaped, bar-like counters against the right wall and a small payment counter and built-in cabinets where they kept the plates and cutleries to the left. The Ninja-Chef would be in the center of the U-shaped tables along with the hotplates. I would normally avoid lunch hours and dinnertime, as the place would normally pack up real quick. The food is no-doubt absolutely delicious, I try to eat something different every time I visit the place but the Chicken Teppanyaki always gets the best of me. I always wonder though why they give us so much vegetables and not enough chicken? Another noteworthy thought to consider while you’re there is, whether or not these people are actual Ninjas moonlighting as Chefs? I guess we’ll never know…
