Great place to chill out and relax. The quite ambience is just good to enjoy the deliciously made stuffs. Mainly known for it’s brunch, you will never regret going anytime of the day. All in all, thumbs up for this place and it’s food.

A family friendly café, this lovely and quaint café offers many yummy options for meals — it’s a particularly great place for brunch. The baristas are ridiculously friendly and attentive to your wants. I had the chicken avocado sandwich, a mocha and fresh orange juice, all for under RM30. And all of which were all satisfying — I’d recommend them if you find yourself spoilt for choice.
The white interior and big glass doors really add to the chilled-​out ambience of the place. Worthy of a note though: there are no ATM’s nearby the area so if you’re planning to head there, don’t forget to bring cold hard cash.

Podgy and the Banker at hartamas is one of those gotta check out the coffee and breakfast/​brunch places, or so I thought it is also a place to hangout at night for desserts too!
I am not the right person to review coffee but my coffee bestie (she takes her coffee black so you know she is for real) says it’s not too bad. For breakfast/​snack I looove the french toast with nutella and banana (rm10) so if you wanna make this but run out of one or all of these ingredients then this is the place for you and I also love the chocolate banana cake!
They have a very nice interior and exterior! You couldnt miss the huge but beautiful sign of theirs and the interior is spacious, eclectic and friendly atmosphere. The only thing that I dislike is the chairs not too comfortable but maybe I just have high expectations for comfort.

Podgy & The Banker + is a great place to do some studying, group projects, or to hang out in groups. Why do I emphasize group? That is because of a long a wide rectangular table right in front of the counter that allows for students to spread their work out and make a mess or to play some card games. It was the first thing that caught my eye. The whole interior is bright and calming. A nice atmosphere to do some work in. Podgy & The Banker + has a brunch menu and a drink menu that consists of coffee and tea. I had their hot chocolate. Due to some stomach complications, I could not try their coffee. The hot chocolate was an easy drink. Not too rich and it was smooth. It was a tad too milky. The amount of milk poured into it had somewhat dilute the taste of the chocolate a little bit. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the hot chocolate and my time at Podgy & The Banker +

I was here upon invitation and I absolutely love it here, they are situated at Jalan Kiara, in the newly furnish building Verse shops. It has an amazing great ambience here and it’s the perfect place for catching ups, assignments, small gathering and they aren’t any café, definitely a unique coffee shop that you shouldn’t miss.
Upon my arrival, I was confused by their gate (didn’t knew have to click the button to access to their café), definitely up to class café. Podgy & The Banker serve great mocha and latte, their aroma of coffee are remarkable along with their amazing ambience-​cozy and snuggy. However, they serve incorrigible bolognese– super nasty and soggy. I was in despair especially there countless good recommendation about this place and not to mention, slow service. i wait probably for at least half an hour for their serving but I do want to point out this place is great. As they are not crowded, perfect place to study and convenient parking lots (is still easy).
Definitely would trying their coffee but never their food, sorry but HELL NO!!! You can always drop by here to study or doing catching up.

I definitely love the ambience of Podgy and The Banker. It is furnished with some simple tables and chairs, not much of decoration. It is a corner shop, the owner designed shop with glasses by replacing the walls and bricks with glasses. It feels really good in there, especially if you are having your breakfast there, with the early morning sunlights, with a cup of coffee or tea.
The last time i visited the shop, I had ordered the sandwiches of theirs. Unlike the usual sandwiches that I had ordered, it is a toasted bread, serve with chicken and some fresh vegetables like avocados, tomatoes etc. It tasted really good, I guess it could be due to the quality of the material used. Apart from that, I heard the coffee was really good as well (not a coffee lover here), you may want to try it out if you are there. A good place to hang out with friends for a good breakfast. :)

Came here with my sisters a few weeks back. The little (not that little actually) monster came back from the States for holiday and we decided to spend some sisterly time together. We came here to meet up with a friend and enjoy each other’s company over coffee and cakes.
We had their salted caramel and red velvet cakes. I personally like the red velvet more. Aside from coffee and cakes, they do serve mains too but we’ve already had our lunch so we only ordered some cakes to snack on.
I find this place very cozy and comfortable to be at. It is very spacious and their renovation is simple and nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with proper shades. The best part about this place is that you don’t have to worry about parking. There’s a parking lot at the basement and it is free of charge. I’m not sure about the future but right now, this place is not crowded with people yet. Hence, it is still easy to get a parking spot to come over for a cuppa coffee.

I absolutely love the environment here! Perfect if you want to get some assignments done or if you just fancy a bit of quiet time. Unlike the Hartamas location, Podgy and the Banker+ is much quieter and less hectic so you can take your time and really relax there. One major wall is covered in a mosaic spelling out «Podgy and The Banker» with a giant top hat above it. The environment is spacious and flooded with light and airy. They also have an outdoor seating area for those who wish too sit outside.
Parking shouldn’t be too much of a problem as you can park on the street right outside or there is also free underground parking available as well. My friend and I had a Salted Caramel Cake too share and I ordered a Hot Chocolate. The Hot Chocolate was just okay, an average hot chocolate but the Salted Caramel cake was excellent. The cake was dense, though a little bit too rich but the chocolate fudge icing is the real star of the cake!

I actually come here a lot for the Muesli Birch and coffee set. At RM 16, I find the set delicious and satisfying. In terms of location, it’s great as parking is free and aplenty (though that might change as more people learn of this location). I also like that the place can fit strollers comfortably and offers healthy food options.
The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because I find their latte a little inconsistent in taste. Once it was even too hot to sip (a fact I only realised when I got to my car). Also, the prices of cakes are a little steep for me.
Other than that, this is a nice place to chill on a Sunday afternoon if you feel like a quiet treat.

It’s my first time visiting Podgy & The Banker + and it was a great experience. I’m usually hopping around café’s to work out off so first thing that comes of course is a working WiFi then comes the coffee and parking of the place. Podgy & The Banker + has passed it all.
Apart from serving great coffee, their barista’s have their own specialty drink that you can request for which was something interesting which is pretty much like how you can go to a bar and ask the bartender for their specialty drink. I have yet to try out their barista’s specialty yet but I’ve had a double shot espresso today which I was quite satisfied with.
They serve brunch which I have yet to try as well but I could see a lot of other customers ordering their meals and it looked pretty delicious! Friendly barista’s I must say and a very comfortable environment.
WiFi is good, parking is free, coffee is great, what more can I ask for? Try out this place if you’re around the area!

I usually go to the first branch to have a cup of coffee and do my work and chill wit amazing beat of music. Since i am close to the owners and staff, it has became more like a second family.
This branch is the second branch managed by the second partner and i believe that the food is different too now they even have grilled food such as sirloin steak and many more.
I ordered the egg Benedict and a random question came in my mind and i was like «How do you eat an egg Benedict?», do you cut the egg and eat with the yolk or do you just eat it? It was perfectly poached and it was so yummy with the ham and toast.
i would prefer this branch more than the first as this is more spacious and have fast wifi and it feels comfortable.

Today I will be writing about this café I have stumbled upon near my crib (within the Mont Kiara area). Podgy and The Banker has been around for about a year and a half now. They recently opened a second branch in the Verve Shops establishment called Podgy and The Banker+.
First thing I have to point out is how the name stands out; it’s no ordinary Podgy and the Banker 2 or a mere repetition of the name but an added plus. I think it’s pretty interesting or rather a good marketing stunt to push for better sales but hey, kudos to them.
The vibe this café gives is unlike any other. I wouldn’t be ambitious to say that this café is like a café in Paris or in New York City, but it is a decent place to bring your friends, colleagues or even your family for a good cup of coffee paired with a savory piece of dessert. The heated chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream is my personal favorite, I’m sure it could be for you if you have a sweet tooth like I do. They even have iced lemon tea and orange juice for the non-​caffeine takers. They also serve food varying from local delicacies like Nasi Lemak to normal café food like sandwiches and finger food. What I really like about the place is the fact that the baristas are really friendly; sometimes it’s the people who make the place enjoyable. I would say it’s definitely a good visit if you’re around the area.

I love the whole feel of the Verve Shops stretch. Something about it makes me feel like im not in KL. Maybe because its on the quieter side of mont kiara, maybe its the tress, i cant seem to put my finger on it but its a nice feeling.
My favorite cuppa to drink here is their flat white, they do it so well and their homemade iced tea is soooo good! Perfect thirst quencher. Im getting thirsty just thinking about it!
Have not tried their food yet but will definitely do that soon. As im always there! I like catching up with friends there and also for business meetings.

Podgy and the Banker + is located in the newly build Verve Shops.
The café is decorated with a minimalistic approach. Very hipster-​ish if you ask me.
The café has very high ceilings and has a very spacious seating area, you’ll feel right at home once you walk through the doors.
The menu at this new establishment ranges from western delights to local favourites, they even serve nasi lemak. They’ve also got a wide range of cakes and baked goods for sale like brownies and cakes.
I had the iced honey soy latte and it was delicious! Kudos to the team!
